행3:12-26

 

베드로와 요한이 성전 미문에서 구걸하던 앉은뱅이를 일으킨 일은 참으로 놀라운 충격이었습니다. 그로 인해 사도들은 복음을 전하는 데 더 큰 힘을 얻게 되었습니다.

 

1. 전도자의 자세

차세대 항공기로 우리나라의 국방을 담당할 F16 전투기가 훈련 도중 원인 모르게 연이어 추락하는 사고가 일어났습니다. 만일 기종에 문제가 있었어도 문제려니와 조종사의 실수가 있었다고 할지라도 마찬가지입니다. 이 항공기 한 대 값이 적어도 수백억을 한다니 그 피해가 엄청날 줄로 생각됩니다. 부여받은 임무가 중요할수록 미치는 영향력이 크다는 사실을 생각한다면 특히 진리의 도구로 쓰임 받는 전도자들은 더욱 조심해야 할 것입니다.

감사한 일은 우리가 믿고 전하는 이 복음은 완전하다는 것입니다. 그러므로 복음으로 인해서 문제가 따른다면 이는 전적으로 전도자에게 책임이 있음을 알아야 합니다.

1) 자기의 위치를 지킨 사도들

"나은 사람이 베드로와 요한을 붙잡으니 모든 백성이 크게 놀라며 달려 나아가 솔로몬의 행각이라 불리우는 행각에 모이거늘"(11절).

그때 고침을 받은 앉은뱅이는 말할 것도 없고 군중들도 베드로와 요한을 평범하게 볼 수 없었습니다. 이렇게 상상할 수 없는 기적의 역사가 일어났으나 사도들은 자기 위치를 이탈하지 않았습니다.

사람이 어느 때에 위기를 맞게 되는지 아십니까? 힘든 시련에 빠지게 되었을 때와 또 자신이 높아질 수 있는 때입니다. 그런데 위기에 처했을 때보다 높아졌을 때 자기를 지키는 일이 열배는 더 어렵다고 합니다. 그러므로 항상 조심해야 합니다.

"이스라엘 사람들아 이 일을 왜 놀랍게 여기느냐 우리 개인의 권능과 경건으로 이 사람을 걷게 한 것처럼 왜 우리를 주목하느냐"(12절).

만일 그때 청중들이 사도들을 통해 일어난 이 기적을 보고도 일상적으로 일어날 수 있다고 생각했다면 정상이 아니지요. 사도들은 "왜 우리를 주목하느냐"고 했습니다. 문제는 그 무리들이 사도들을 통해 역사하신 주님을 볼 수 있는 믿음의 눈을 못 가졌기 때문이었습니다.

그러므로 우리들은 신앙의 안목을 가지고 주님께만 영광 돌릴 수 있기를 소원합니다.

2) 복음 전할 기회를 선용한 사도들

전도자로서 복음을 증언해야 하는 일에는 어떠한 이유나 핑계도 있어서 안 될 것입니다.

마더 테레사의 말을 소개합니다.

[난 결코 대중을 구원하려고 하지 않는다. 난 다만 한 개인을 바라볼 뿐이다.

난 한 번에 단지 한 사람만 사랑할 수 있다. 한 번에 단지 한 사람을 껴안을 수 있다.

단지 한 사람 한 사람 한 사람씩만,

따라서 당신도 시작하고 나도 시작하는 것이다.

나는 한 사람을 붙잡는다. 만일 내가 그 사람을 붙잡지 않았다면

나는 사만 이천 명을 붙잡지 못했을 것이다.]

복음은 듣든지 아니 듣든지 전해야 하고, 때를 얻든지 못 얻든지 전해야 합니다. 그러나 중요한 것은 결실입니다. 농부가 씨를 뿌릴 시기에는 씨를 뿌려야 합니다. 뿌린 종자가 싹이 나고 잘 자라 수확기에 많은 결실을 얻게 되면 다행이지만 쭉정이로 변할지라도 낙심하지 말고 뿌려야 합니다. 이렇게 농사짓는 사람에게는 땅이 양식을 제공해 줍니다. 농부는 그 시기를 놓치지 않습니다.

사도들을 보십시오. 그들은 복음 전할 기회를 잃지 않았습니다.

중풍에서 살아난 이재행성도는 이제 어디를 가고 누구를 만나도 "예수를 믿으라"고 전도한다는 이야기를 들었습니다. 내게 확실한 증거가 있을 때 하나님께 더 많은 영광을 돌리시기 소원합니다.

"아브라함과 이삭과 야곱의 하나님"(13절).

여기까지는 이스라엘 사람들이 거부 반응을 보일 이유가 없지요. 중요한 것은 예수 그리스도의 복음은 구약의 진리와 무관하거나 이질적인 것이 아니라는 것입니다.

"아브라함과 이삭과 야곱의 하나님 곧 우리 조상의 하나님이 그의 종 예수를 영화롭게 하셨느니라"(13절).

이것이 곧 앉은뱅이를 일으켜 세운 복음이요, 살아계신 하나님의 능력입니다. 이제는 이 사실을 부인하려고 해도 부인할 수가 없는 것은 확실한 증거가 있었기 때문입니다. 여기서 베드로는 다시 복음을 전하기 시작합니다.

"너희가 그를 넘겨주고 빌라도가 놓아 주기로 결의한 것을 너희가 그 앞에서 부인하였으니"(13절).

그들은 이렇게 하는 것이 하나님을 바로 섬기는 것이요, 나사렛 이단을 뿌리 뽑는 것으로 당연하다고 생각했습니다. 그러나 베드로가 전한 나사렛 예수가 곧 메시아라는 사실을 알지 못했습니다.

"너희가 거룩하고 의로운 이를 부인하고 도리어 살인한 사람을 놓아 주기를 구하여 생명의 주를 죽였도다 그러나 하나님이 죽은 자 가운데서 그를 살리셨으니 우리가 이 일에 증인이라"(14-15절).

진실한 회개가 무엇입니까? 진리 앞에서 자신을 발견하고 진실하게 고백하는 것입니다. 아직도 그리스도의 몸에 상처를 입히면서도 모르고 있지는 않습니까? 회개해야 합니다. 성령 떠난 위선의 말을 쓰지 않도록 조심하시기 바랍니다.

"우리가 이 일에 증인이로다"

사실 앉은뱅이가 일어난 일로는 사도들뿐만 아니라 그 광경을 목도한 무리들도 증인입니다. 그런데 사도들은 이 일로만 아니라 이스라엘 사람들이 십자가에 못 박은 그 예수를 하나님이 다시 살리신 증인으로서 그 자리에 등장했다는 것입니다.

"태초부터 있는 생명의 말씀에 관하여는 우리가 들은 바요 눈으로 본 바요 자세히 보고 우리의 손으로 만진 바라"(요일1:1).

이보다 더 확실한 증거는 없을 줄 압니다. 법적인 용어로 '심증'과 '물증'이라는 말이 있습니다. 사실이 틀림없을지라도 심증만으로는 법적 구속이 불가능합니다. 그러나 물증이 있으면 변명의 여지없이 벌을 받게 됩니다. 그러므로 사실을 밝히는 데는 반드시 물증이 필요합니다. 그런데 그리스도의 복음은 확실한 증인이 한두 사람이 아니라는 것입니다.

여러분! 믿음 위에 굳게 서서 담대하게 이 복음을 전하십시오. 영적인 체험을 가졌습니까? 주저하지 마십시오. 하나님은 우리와 함께 하십니다.

 

2. 주의 이름으로 일어난 기적

"그 이름을 믿으므로 그 이름이 너희 보고 아는 이 사람을 성하게 하였나니 예수로 말미암아 난 믿음이 너희 모든 사람 앞에서 이같이 완전히 낫게 하였느니라"(16절).

"완전히 낫게" 신약에서는 이곳에만 나오는 용어입니다. 이는 신체의 전 부분, 즉 신체의 모든 부분이 완전하여졌다는 말씀입니다. 이러한 기적이 주님의 이름으로 일어난 것입니다. 이것이 오늘 우리에게 어떠한 교훈을 주고 있습니까?

1) 주님이 살아 계시다는 증거입니다.

과거 공화당 시절에 중앙정보부라 하면 권력이 막강하여 국민 모두가 공포의 상징으로 생각하기도 했습니다. 그 당시 제가 아는 어느 장로님의 아들이 정보부장의 비서로 있었는데 경찰서에서 다른 사람이 하는 일은 단속을 하는데 그 장로님이 하는 일은 손을 대지 못하는 것을 보았습니다. 그런데 그처럼 막강한 사람이나 대통령의 직함으로도 앉은뱅이를 일으킬 수 없지만 주님의 이름으로는 일어날 수 있었습니다. 이것은 무엇을 우리에게 교훈하고 있습니까? 주님은 여전히 살아 계시다는 증거입니다. 그러므로 우리는 주의 이름으로 기도 올리고 또 응답을 받습니다. 주의 이름 앞에서는 귀신이 물러갑니다. 또한 영생의 은혜를 힘입고 모든 문제가 해결됩니다. 얼마나 귀중한 은혜입니까? 우리 모두 주님의 이름으로 큰 능력 힘입는 성도들이 되시기 바랍니다.

2) 그 이름이 영광을 받으시기 합당한 증거입니다.

"우리 조상의 하나님이 그의 종 예수를 영화롭게 하셨느니라"(13절).

"그의 능력이 그리스도 안에서 역사하사 죽은 자들 가운데서 다시 살리시고 하늘에서 자기의 오른편에 앉히사 모든 통치와 권세와 능력과 주권과 이 세상뿐 아니라 오는 세상에 일컫는 모든 이름 위에 뛰어나게 하시고 또 만물을 그의 발아래 복종하게 하시고 그를 만물 위에 교회의 머리로 삼으셨느니라”(엡1:20-22).

유대교가 기독교의 뿌리이지만 구원받지 못하는 이유가 어디에 있는지 아십니까? 하나님이 달라서가 아닙니다. 거기에는 그리스도의 복음이 없기 때문입니다. 알라신을 섬기는 마호멧도 마찬가지입니다. '알라'라는 말은 우리말로는 하나님입니다. 물론 그들은 구약의 정통성을 저버린 이스마엘과 에서의 후예들입니다. 어떻게 되었든지 그리스도의 대속이 없는 것은 진리가 될 수 없습니다.

3. 고난의 복음으로 일어난 기적

기억해야 할 것은 죄는 알고 짓든지 모르고 짓든지 형벌이 따르게 된다는 것입니다. 국민으로서 마땅히 지켜야 할 법을 범했다면 몰랐다는 것으로는 이유가 성립될 수 없습니다. 무고히 사람을 죽이고도 살인죄인 줄 알지 못했다면 말이 될 수 있을까요? 그러므로 죄의 댓가는 마땅히 받아야 합니다. 이스라엘 백성들도 그리스도를 알지 못하여 십자가에 못 박았습니다.

"형제들아 너희가 알지 못하여서 그리하였으며 너희 관리들도 그리한 줄 아노라"(17절).

이는 너그럽게 이해하고 덮어 나가기 위해서가 아닙니다. 도리어 회개를 촉구하는 말씀입니다.

만일 이스라엘 백성들이 메시아를 알고 영접했다면 어떻게 되었을까 궁금하지 않습니까? 그랬다고 할지라도 오늘까지 이스라엘 백성들이 기대하는 지상 왕국은 이루어질 수 없는 것입니다. 주의 나라는 세속의 왕국이 아니기 때문입니다. 그러므로 오늘의 과학 문명도 시날 평지에 쌓아 올린 바벨탑은 될지라도 천국은 될 수가 없습니다. 물론 과학 문명을 정죄할 필요는 없습니다. 그러나 그로 인해 교만해져서 하나님을 대적할 때는 심판을 받게 됩니다. 그러므로 우리는 주의 나라와 그의 의를 위해 살아가는 성도들이 되어야 합니다.

또한 그리스도의 십자가는 하나님의 예정입니다. 놀라운 사실은 그리스도의 고난과 죽음이 유대인들로 인해서가 아니라 하나님의 예정에 의해서라는 것입니다.

"하나님이 모든 선지자의 입을 통하여 자기의 그리스도께서 고난 받으실 일을 미리 알게 하신 것을 이와 같이 이루셨느니라"(18절).

그러므로 주님께서 겟세마네 동산에서 그처럼 몸부림을 쳤으나 하나님은 침묵하셨으나 내 뜻대로 마옵시고 아버지의 뜻대로 되기를 원했을 때 하나님은 천사를 통해 예수님께 힘을 도와주었습니다.

어떻게 생각하면 유대인들이 예수님을 십자가에 넘긴 것은 하나님의 뜻에 조력한 것으로 간주할 수도 있습니다. 그러나 이 일로는 그들이 영광에 이를 수 없는 이유를 든다면

1) 메시야를 불신하고 배역하였기 때문이요,

2) 필요악의 도구로 쓰였기 때문입니다.

"성경이 바로에게 이르시되 내가 이 일을 위하여 너를 세웠으니 곧 너로 말미암아 내 능력을 보이고 내 이름이 온 땅에 전파되게 하려 함이라 하셨으니"(롬9:17).

이 일로 바로는 영광에 이른 것이 아니라 하나님의 심판을 받았습니다. 은 삼십에 예수님을 팔아먹은 가룟 유다도 마찬가지입니다.

“내가 그들과 함께 있을 때에 내게 주신 아버지의 이름으로 그들을 보전하고 지키었나이다 그 중에 하나도 멸망하지 않고 다만 멸망의 자식뿐이오니 이는 성경을 응하게 함이니이다”(요17:12).

“인자는 자기에 대하여 기록된 대로 가거니와 인자를 파는 그 사람에게는 화가 있으리로다 그 사람은 차라리 태어나지 아니하였더라면 제게 좋을뻔 하였느니라”(마26:24).

우리는 하나님의 뜻을 따라 십자가를 지는 사람은 될지라도 필요악의 존재로 전락하는 사람이 되지 않기를 바랍니다.

 

4. 사유의 복음으로 일어난 기적

"그러므로 너희가 회개하고 돌이켜 너희 죄 없이 함을 받으라 이같이 하면 새롭게 되는 날이 주 앞으로부터 이를 것이요"(19절).

감사드릴 일은 우리가 믿는 이 복음은 사유의 복음이라는 것입니다. 여기는 진리의 원수 곧 주님을 십자가에 못 박은 자들도 해당됩니다. 주님을 십자가에 못 박은 자들이 어떻게 사유함을 얻을 수가 있느냐고 반문할 수 있겠으나 보혈의 능력은 무한합니다. 그러므로 그리스도를 구세주로 믿고 회개하면 "그는 미쁘시고 의로우사" 우리 죄를 사하여 주십니다. 다만 회개할 기회를 잃어서는 안될 것입니다.

"너희가 회개하고 돌이켜 너희 죄없이 함을 받으라" 이것이 우리의 죄를 도말시켜 주시는 복음입니다. 사유함을 받은 죄는 기억하지도 않으십니다. 이제는 마귀의 정죄를 두려워할 것이 없습니다.

"너희가 회개하고 돌이켜 너희 죄 없이 함을 받으라 이같이 하면 새롭게 되는 날이 주 앞으로부터 이를 것이요"(19절).

비로소 무거운 멍에에서 해방을 받는 기쁨을 맛보게 될 것입니다. 얼마나 감사한 은혜입니까? 이 사유의 은혜가 우리 모두에게 충만하기를 바랍니다.

 

5. 재림의 복음으로 일어날 기적

"또 주께서 너희를 위하여 예정하신 그리스도 곧 예수를 보내시리니"(20절).

예수님은 다시 오십니다. 초림하신 주님께서는 내 죄를 사하시고, 재림하시는 주님은 죄와 사망이 없는 영원한 천국에서 우리와 함께 살도록 때가 이르면 다시 오십니다. 주의 약속은 신실하십니다. 주님 오시는 그 날, 우리 모두 영광 가운데서 주님을 영접할 수 있기를 바랍니다.

"이것들을 증언하신 이가 이르시되 내가 진실로 속히 오리라 하시거늘 아멘 주 예수여 오시옵소서"(계22:20) - 아멘 -

What we are thankful for is that this gospel we believe in and preach is perfect. Therefore, if problems arise because of the gospel, you must know that the evangelist is entirely responsible.

1) The apostles who kept their positions

“The man who was healed seized Peter and John, and all the people were astonished, and ran and gathered themselves in the porch called Solomon's Port” (verse 11).

At that time, the crowd could not see Peter and John in a normal way, let alone the lame who had been healed. This unimaginable miracle happened, but the apostles did not deviate from their positions.

Do you know when people face a crisis? It's a time when he's going through tough trials and another time when he can elevate himself. By the way, he says it is ten times more difficult to protect himself when he is elevated than when he is in crisis. Therefore, you should always be careful.

“Men of Israel, why are you amazed at this?

If at that time the audience saw this miracle that had happened through the apostles and thought that it could happen on a daily basis, it would not be normal. The apostles said, "Why are you paying attention to us?" The problem was that the crowd did not have the eyes of faith to see the Lord who worked through the apostles.

Therefore, we hope that we can only glorify the Lord with the eyes of faith.

2) Apostles who took advantage of the opportunity to preach the Gospel

As an evangelist, there should be no reason or excuse for bearing witness to the gospel.

The gospel must be preached whether we hear it or not, and it must be preached in season or out of season. But what matters is the result. When a farmer sows, he must sow seeds. Look at the apostles. They did not lose the opportunity to share the gospel.

“The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob” (verse 13).

So far, there is no reason for the Israelites to reject it. The important thing is that the gospel of Jesus Christ is not independent or foreign to the truth of the Old TestAment.

“The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified his servant Jesus” (verse 13).

This is the gospel that raised the lame and is the power of the living God. Now, even if I try to deny this fact, I cannot deny it because there was solid evidence. Here, Peter begins to preach the gospel again.

“You have denied before him that you delivered him and that Pilate had resolved to release him” (verse 13).

They took it for granted that doing this was serving God rightly and uprooting the Nazarene heresy. However, they did not know that Jesus of Nazareth, whom Peter preached, was the Messiah.

“You denied the Holy and Righteous One, but asked for a murderer to be released, and you killed the Lord of life, but God raised him from the dead, and we are witnesses of these things” (verses 14-15).

What is true repentance? It is about discovering yourself in front of the truth and confessing it sincerely. Are you still hurting the body of Christ and not knowing it? You must repent. Please be careful not to use the words of hypocrisy that departed from the Holy Spirit.

"We are witnesses of these things"

In fact, not only the apostles but also the people who witnessed the crippled incident are witnesses. However, the apostles were not only about this, but also appeared on the scene as witnesses to whom God raised Jesus, whom the Israelites had crucified on the cross.

“As for the word of life, which was from the beginning, which we have heard, and which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon and have touched with our hands” (1 John 1:1).

I don't think there is any more convincing evidence than this. In legal terms, there are the words 'simjeung' and 'muljeung'. Even if it must be true, it is not possible to legally bind with a heart attack alone. However, if there is evidence, you will be punished without any excuses. Therefore, evidence is absolutely necessary to reveal the facts. But the gospel of Christ is that there are not one or two sure witnesses.

2. Miracles in the name of the Lord

“By believing in his name, his name has made this man whom you have seen and known, and the faith that is through Jesus has thus completely healed you in the sight of all of you” (verse 16).

"To be completely healed" is a term found only here in the New TestAment. This means that all parts of the body, that is, all parts of the body, have been made perfect. This miracle happened in the name of the Lord. What lesson does this teach us today?

1) It is proof that the Lord is alive.

In the Republican era in the past, the Central Intelligence Agency was so powerful that it was considered by all the people as a symbol of fear. May we all become saints who will receive great power in the name of the Lord.

2) It is the proof that the name is worthy to be glorified.

“The God of our fathers glorified his servant Jesus” (verse 13).

“His power worked in Christ, and he raised him from the dead, and seated him at his right hand in heaven, above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in the world to come, and put all things under his feet. and made him head over all things to the church” (Ephesians 1:20-22).

Judaism is the root of Christianity, but do you know why there is no salvation? It's not because God is different. Because there is no gospel of Christ. The same goes for Muhammad, who worships Allah. The word 'Allah' means God in Korean. Of course, they are descendants of Ishmael and Esau who forsook the orthodoxy of the Old TestAment. Whatever the case, it cannot be the truth without the atonement of Christ.

3. The miracle that happened through the gospel of suffering

The thing to remember is that whether you commit a sin knowingly or ignorantly, punishment will follow. As a citizen, if you have violated the law you ought to abide by, there is no reason to be ignorant of it. Would it make sense if you didn't know that it was a crime to kill someone innocently? Therefore, the penalty for sin must be paid. Even the Israelites did not know Christ and were crucified.

“I know, brethren, that you did it ignorantly, and that your officials did the same” (verse 17).

This is not meant to be generously understood and covered up. Rather, it is a call to repentance.

Don't you wonder what would have happened if the people of Israel knew and accepted the Messiah? Even so, the earthly kingdom that the Israelites expected to this day could not be achieved. Because your kingdom is not a worldly kingdom. Therefore, even today's scientific civilization may become the Tower of Babel built on the flat land of Shinar, but it cannot become heaven. Of course, there is no need to condemn scientific civilization. However, because of this, when you become proud and resist God, you will be judged. Therefore, we must become believers who live for the Lord's kingdom and His righteousness.

Also, the cross of Christ is God's predestination. The surprising fact is that Christ's suffering and death were not caused by the Jews, but by God's predestination.

“For this is what God hath done through the mouth of all the prophets, foreknowing the sufferings of his Christ” (verse 18).

Therefore, when the Lord struggled like that in the Garden of Gethsemane, but God was silent, but not my will but his Father's will, God gave strength to Jesus through an angel. came In one way or another, the Jews' delivery of Jesus to the cross may be regarded as an aid to God's will. But if you give reasons why they can't reach the glory by this

1) Because they distrusted and rebelled against the Messiah,

2) Because it was used as a tool for necessary evil.

“The Bible said to Pharaoh, ‘For this purpose I have appointed you, that through you my power may be shown, that my name may be proclaimed in all the earth’” (Romans 9:17).

For this, Pharaoh did not attain glory, but was judged by God. The same is true of Judas Iscariot, who sold Jesus for thirty pieces of silver.

“When I was with them, I preserved them and kept them in your name, which you gave me. None of them perish, but only children of perdition, so that the scriptures are fulfilled” (John 17:12).

“The Son of Man goes as it is written about him, but woe to him who betrays him; it would have been better for him if he had not been born” (Matthew 26:24).

We hope that even if we become those who carry the cross according to God's will, we do not want to become those who fall into the existence of necessary evil.

 

4. The miracle that happened through the gospel of thought

“Repent, therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, that a new day will come from the presence of the Lord” (verse 19).

We should be thankful that this gospel we believe in is the gospel of thought. This also applies to the enemies of the truth, those who crucified the Lord. You may ask, how can those who crucified the Lord be forgiven, but the power of the blood is infinite. Therefore, if we believe in Christ as our Savior and repent, "He is faithful and just" and forgives our sins. But we must not lose the opportunity to repent.

“Repent and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.” This is the gospel that blots out our sins. He doesn't even remember the sins that have been forgiven. Now we have nothing to fear of the devil's condemnation.

Only then will you experience the joy of being freed from the heavy yoke. How grateful are you? May the grace of this reason be filled with all of us.

 

5. Miracles that will happen through the Gospel of the Second Coming

“And the Lord will send the Christ whom he has ordained for you, Jesus” (verse 20).

Jesus is coming again. The first coming Lord forgives my sins, and the second coming Lord will come again when the time comes so that we can live with us in the eternal heaven where there is no sin and death. Your promises are faithful. On the day when the Lord comes, I hope that we can all receive Him in glory.
