길과 진리와 생명
요14:6
"사람이 떡으로만 살 것이 아니요 하나님의 입으로부터 나오는 모든 말씀으로 살 것이라"(마4:4).
유대 광야에서 사십일을 금식하고 주리신 주님께서 시험하는 마귀에게 한 말씀입니다. 마귀는 오늘도 사람이 떡으로만 사는 줄 알게 하여 멸망의 길로 끌고 간다는 사실을 우리는 깨달아야 합니다. 공산주의 종주국인 소련이 붕괴되고 동구권이 무너졌으나 한반도에는 아직도 유물 공산주의가 존재하고 있다는 것은 우리 민족의 슬픔과 고통이요, 불행이 아닐 수 없습니다.
공산주의자들이 던지는 미끼가 무엇입니까? 모두가 평등하게 잘 먹고, 잘 살아가도록 만들어 주겠다는 유혹입니다. 그런데 공산주의 사회의 실상은 어떻습니까? 지구상에서 가장 가난하게 살아가는 나라들이 되었습니다.
기억해야 할 것은 인간은 짐승과 달리 영혼이 있다는 사실입니다. 사람이 죽으면 흙으로 돌아갑니다. 여기는 누구도 예외일 수 없습니다. 그런데 죽음으로 인생이 끝나는 것일까요? 그렇지 않습니다. 만일 그렇다면 불신자들이 조상에게 제사하는 문제에 대해서는 어떻게 생각해야 할까요?
인류의 역사를 살펴보면 모두가 내세 의식과 부활 사상을 가지고 있었다는 것을 알 수 있습니다.
세계 칠 대 불가사의 중의 하나인 애굽의 피라밋은 언젠가는 인생이 다시 살아나리라는 것을 바라고 있었다는 증거입니다. 그러한 부활 사상이 모든 나라에 있었다는 것을 누구도 부인할 수 없을 것입니다.
영혼은 밥으로 살아가는 존재가 아닙니다. 물질로 만족을 누릴 수가 있다면 오늘같이 풍요로운 세상에 불행이 없어야 마땅하지요. 옛날에는 먹고 싶어도 먹을 것이 없어서 굶주렸는데 지금은 얼마나 풍요로워졌습니까?
눈부신 과학문명 역시 마찬가지입니다. 삼사십 년 사이에 세상은 이렇게 변화되었습니다. 앞으로도 상상하지 못할 세상이 펼쳐질 텐데 연세 높은 것이 아깝다 생각 들지는 않습니까? 그렇지만 세상이 아무리 아름답다 할지라도 인생이 늙고 병들어 죽는 것은 막을 수가 없습니다.
그뿐 아닙니다. 물질로 대신할 수 없는 공백이 있기에 그로 인해 발생하는 사회적인 문제가 얼마나 심각합니까? 거리를 방황하는 청소년들을 보십시오. 그들에게 가정이 없고, 부모가 없으며, 먹을 것이 없어서 그럴까요? 그렇지 않습니다. 차라리 짐승으로 태어났으면 어떻게 살고, 언제 죽든지 문제 삼지 않을 것입니다. 그러나 인간으로 태어났기에 인간답게 살아야 하는 문제가 있는 것입니다.
우리가 마시는 한강 물을 이제는 물고기조차 살 수 없도록 오염시킨 주범이 누구입니까? 인간입니다.
땅을 병들게 하고 대기를 오염시켜서 제대로 숨도 쉬지 못하게 만든 범인이 누구입니까? 역시 인간입니다. 이러한 책임을 인간이 아닌 다른 만물에게 물을 수 있을까요? 그럴 수 없습니다.
인간은 만물의 영장이기 때문에 만물을 돌보고 잘 지켜야 합니다. 또 인간이 인간답게 살 때 인간적인 대우를 받을 수 있다는 사실을 깨달아야 합니다.
그렇다면 인간이 짐승같이 사는 것과 인간답게 사는 삶의 차이는 무엇일까요? 자연은 자연으로 지음을 받았기에 자연 상태 그대로가 좋을지라도 인간은 인간으로서 본분을 저버리면 심판을 받는 것입니다.
짐승 중에서 인간의 형상을 닮은 유인원이 있습니다.
원숭이는 생긴 것뿐만 아니라 행동까지도 인간의 흉내를 잘 냅니다. 그로 인해 진화론자들은 그것이 인간의 조상이라고 주장합니다. 그러나 원숭이 세계에서 신앙의 행위를 발견했다는 것을 보셨습니까? 하나님은 눈으로 볼 수 없으니까 그렇다고 해도, 눈에 보이는 조상이 죽으면 인간과 같이 제사를 운운한다든지 아니면 다시 살아날 것을 기대해서 무덤을 만드는 행위를 보셨느냐는 말씀입니다. 이유는 너무도 간단하지요. 영혼이 없기 때문입니다. 하루살이가 내일 일을 알 수 없고 메뚜기가 내년 일을 알 수 없듯이 짐승은 내세를 의식하지 못합니다.
그런데 인간을 영혼 없는 짐승같이 간주해도 무방할까요? 그럴 수 없습니다. 인간은 짐승과 달리 영혼의 욕구가 충족되기 전에는 참된 만족을 누리지 못합니다.
영혼은 밥과 떡으로 살아가는 존재가 아닙니다. 그것은 육신이지요. 흙에서 취한 육체는 흙에서 나온 양식을 먹다가 결국은 흙으로 돌아가기 마련이지만, 영혼은 위에서 왔기에 영의 양식을 먹어야 합니다. 그 양식이 영생의 진리 곧 말씀입니다. 우리의 본향은 천국이요, 우리가 갈 곳은 하나님의 나라입니다. 그런데 불행하게도 죄지은 인생은 하나님의 나라를 유업으로 받을 수가 없다는 것입니다.
"범죄하는 그 영혼은 죽으리라"(겔18:4). 이것이 하나님의 공의입니다.
그런데 하나님은 우리를 사랑하시므로 아무도 멸망 받는 것을 기뻐하지 아니하시고 죄에서 돌이켜 구원받는 것을 기뻐하십니다. 이 구원의 은총을 선물로 주시기 위해 하나님이 육신을 입으시고 세상에 오셨는데 그 분이 바로 예수 그리스도입니다.
“하나님의 사랑이 우리에게 이렇게 나타난바 되었으니 하나님이 자기의 독생자를 세상에 보내심은 그로 말미암아 우리를 살리려 하심이라 사랑은 여기 있으니 우리가 하나님을 사랑한 것이 아니요 하나님이 우리를 사랑하사 우리 죄를 속하기 위하여 화목제물로 그 아들을 보내셨음이라”(요1서49-10).
또 그리스도는 말씀으로 우주만물을 창조하신 조물주이십니다.
"만물이 그로 말미암아 지은 바 되었으니 지은 것이 하나도 그가 없이는 된 것이 없느니라"(요1:3).
해와 달을 누가 창조했습니까? 진화론자들은 저절로 있었다고 합니다. 또 우주 천체는 대폭발로 만들어진 것이라 합니다. 그렇다면 최초의 우주는 누가 창조했을까요?
진화론자들의 주장대로라면 대답할 수 없는 문제가 너무도 많습니다. 그러한 해답은 오직 창조의 근본이신 그리스도를 믿을 때 알게 됩니다.
1. 그리스도는 길이십니다.
인생은 길가는 나그네입니다. 이 길은 가고 싶어서 가고, 가기 싫다고 가지 않아도 되는 길이 아닙니다. 이 자리에 계신 분들 중에 연세가 높은 어른들은 주름살이 깊어져 가는 것을 보게 됩니다. 그 주름이 무엇을 뜻하고 있습니까? 먼 길을 걸어왔다는 고생의 표시입니다. 젊을 때는 힘든 일도 운동이 되었는데 연세가 높아지면 멍이 들게 되지요.
옛날에는 효의 도를 인간 교육의 기준으로 삼았는데, 오늘에는 모두가 자기중심의 삶으로 변하는 것 같습니다. 세상에는 늙고 싶어서 늙는 사람은 아무도 없습니다. 세월이 머물러주지 않으니 안타까울 뿐입니다. 시간은 이 순간에도 흘러갑니다. 그러나 사람은 단순히 시간의 흐름과 늙는다는 문제 때문에 불행한 것이 아니라 길을 잘못 들었기에 불행해진다는 사실을 깨달아야 합니다.
사람이 성공하기 위해서는 어떻게 해야 합니까? 성공은 저절로 오는 것이 아니라 다른 사람보다 더 빨리 달려야합니다. 그렇다고 향방도 없이 달려서 우승할 수가 있을까요? 그렇지 않습니다. 운동 경기에도 규칙이 있어서 그 법을 지켜야 우승할 수 있는 것같이 인생도 마찬가지입니다.
인생이 구원받는 길은 장수에 있는 것이 아니요, 부귀나 권세에 있는 것이 아닙니다. "내가 길이요" 그리스도만이 인생이 가야 할 영생의 길이심을 믿으시기 바랍니다.
2. 내가 진리요
이천 년 전 빌라도의 법정에 서신 주님께서 "진리에 속한 자는 내 음성을 듣느니라"(요18:37) 하셨을 때 빌라도는 "진리가 무엇이냐?" 하였습니다. 빌라도가 진리를 모르고 사람을 다스렸던 것같이 오늘도 진리를 모르고 살아가는 것은 마찬가지입니다.
그렇다면 진리가 무엇일까요?
1) 진리는 배워서 얻을 수 있는 지식이 아닙니다.
물론 학교나 학원을 지칭하여 진리의 전당이라 말을 합니다. 그러나 진리는 물리학이나 철학, 그 이상입니다. 이는 세상 학문을 터득하여 인생 문제가 해결되고 또 영생의 관문이 열리는 것이 아니기 때문입니다.
2) 진리는 윤리나 도덕이 아닙니다.
인간이기에 인간으로서 염치와 정절은 물론이거니와 윤리와 도덕이 있습니다. 또한 공감대를 형성할 수 있는 양심의 기틀이 있어야 합니다. 윤리와 도덕이 살아가는데 반드시 지켜져야 할 덕목이지만 그렇다고 영생의 진리가 될 수는 없다는 것입니다.
3) 진리는 철학이 아닙니다.
철학은 인생 문제를 논하는 학문입니다. 그러나 그것은 사색을 통해서 해결해 보려는 인간의 노력일 뿐이요, 해결의 열쇠는 따로 있습니다. 철학이 던지는 질문이 무엇입니까? 인생은 무엇이며, 또 무엇을 위해 살아야 하며, 어디를 가고 있으며, 그 종착역은 어디이며, 그다음에는 어떻게 될까? 하는 문제입니다. 그런데 여기에 대한 대답은 어떠한 철인도 할 수 없는 것입니다.
오늘도 젊은이들이 사회적인 부조리를 고발하는 일에 목숨을 던지는 일이 있는가 하면 공산주의의 망상에서 벗어나지 못하고 있는 자들도 있습니다. 과연 그런 것들이 목숨을 던져야 할 가치가 될까요? 진리가 아니라면 그 어떤 것에도 목숨을 걸어서는 안 되는 것입니다. 진리가 무엇인지 궁금하지 않습니까?
주님의 말씀입니다. "내가 곧 진리요" 오직 그리스도만이 영원한 진리이십니다. 그러므로 그리스도를 영접할 때 이 진리를 깨닫는 지각이 열려질 줄 믿습니다.
3. 내가 생명이라
영생 얻기를 원하십니까? 그리스도를 구주로 영접하시기 바랍니다.
"나는 부활이요 생명이니 나를 믿는 자는 죽어도 살겠고 무릇 살아서 나를 믿는 자는 영원히 죽지 아니하리니 이것을 네가 믿느냐"(요11:25-26).
그 믿음으로 나사로는 무덤에서 다시 살아났습니다. 그리스도 없는 영생은 마귀의 올무일 뿐입니다. 사후의 세계를 믿으십니까? 그날을 대비하여 오늘을 사는 것이 인간의 지혜입니다.
세상 것은 모두가 허무로 돌아가되 하나님의 나라는 영원합니다. 아직도 길을 잃고 방황합니까? 기회를 잃지 마십시오.
허무에 매여서 종살이하지 말고 진리의 지각이 열려지는 은혜를 힘입기 소원합니다. 영생의 은혜는 값없이 주시는 하나님의 선물입니다.
"영접하는 자 곧 그 이름을 믿는 자들에게는 하나님의 자녀가 되는 권세를 주셨으니 이는 혈통으로나 육정으로나 사람의 뜻으로 나지 아니하고 오직 하나님께로부터 난 자들이니라"(요1:12-13).
"내가 곧 길이요 진리요 생명이니 나로 말미암지 않고는 아버지께로 올 자가 없느니라"(6절).
그리스도 예수의 복음을 받아들여 하나님의 자녀가 된 가정과 앞길에 하늘의 영광이 충만하기를 기원합니다. - 아멘 -
The Way, Truth and Life
John 14:6
“Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4).
These are the words of the Lord who fasted forty days and hunger in the wilderness of Judea to the tempting devil. We must realize that even today, the devil leads people to the path of destruction by letting people know that they live only on bread. It is the sorrow, pain, and misfortune of our people that the Soviet Union, the capital of communism, collapsed and the Eastern Bloc collapsed, but relic communism still exists on the Korean Peninsula.
What are the baits the communists throw? It's a temptation to make sure everyone eats well and lives well. But what about the reality of a communist society? They have become the poorest countries in the world.
One thing to remember is that humans, unlike animals, have souls. When a person dies, they return to the soil. No one here is an exception. But does death mean the end of life? It's not like that. If so, what should unbelievers think about the issue of offering sacrifices to their ancestors?
If we look at the history of mankind, we can see that everyone had an afterlife ritual and resurrection idea.
One of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Pyramids of Egypt is proof that one day life would come back to life. No one can deny that such a resurrection idea has existed in every country.
The soul does not live on food. If we can enjoy material satisfaction, there should be no misery in today's affluent world. In the old days, you wanted to eat, but you were hungry because there was nothing to eat. How rich are you now?
The same is true of dazzling scientific civilization. The world has changed like this in thirty or forty years. In the future, there will be a world you can't even imagine, but don't you think it's a waste to have a higher age? However, no matter how beautiful the world is, it cannot prevent life from getting old and sick and dying.
Not only that. Since there is a void that cannot be replaced by material, how serious is the social problem caused by it? Look at the youth wandering the streets. Is it because they have no home, no parents, and no food? It's not like that. Rather, if I had been born as an animal, it would not matter how I lived or when I died. However, since we were born as human beings, we have the problem of living like a human being.
Who is the main culprit for polluting the water of the Han River that we drink so that even fish can no longer live? Human.
Who was the culprit that made the land sick and polluted the air, making it impossible to breathe properly? Also human. Can anything other than humans be held accountable for this? You can't.
Since humans are the lords of all things, we must take care of them and protect them. We must also realize that when we live like human beings, we can be treated humanely.
So, what is the difference between living like an animal and living like a human? Since nature was created by nature, even if the state of nature is good, if humans forsake their duty as human beings, they will be judged.
Among the beasts, there is an apes that resembles human form.
Monkeys mimic humans not only in appearance but also in behavior. As a result, evolutionists claim that it is the ancestor of humans. But did you see that we found an act of faith in the monkey world? God cannot see with the naked eye, so even so, did you see the act of making a tomb in the hope of resurrecting or reciting a sacrifice like a human when a visible ancestor died? The reason is so simple. Because there is no soul. The beast is unaware of the afterlife, just as a ephemera cannot know what will happen tomorrow and a grasshopper cannot know what will happen next year.
But is it okay to regard humans as soulless beasts? You can't. Humans, unlike animals, cannot enjoy true satisfaction until their soul's desires are satisfied.
The soul does not live on rice and bread. It is the body. The body taken from the soil eats food from the soil and eventually returns to the soil, but the soul must eat the food of the spirit because it came from above. That food is the truth of eternal life, the Word. Our hometown is Heaven, and the place we will go to is the Kingdom of God. Unfortunately, a sinful life cannot inherit the kingdom of God.
“The soul that sins shall die” (Ezekiel 18:4). This is God's justice.
But because God loves us, he does not delight in any perishing, but in turning from sin and being saved. To give this grace of salvation as a gift, God took the flesh and came into the world, and that person is Jesus Christ.
“In this was manifested in us the love of God, that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Here is love, not that we loved God, but that God loved us and He sent his Son as a peace offering” (1 John 49-10).
Also, Christ is the Creator, who created all things in the universe through His Word.
“All things were made through him, and without him nothing was made that was made” (John 1:3).
Who created the sun and moon? Evolutionists say it happened by itself. It is also said that the cosmic celestial body was created by a big bang. So, who created the first universe?
There are too many questions that evolutionists cannot answer. Such answers can be found only when we believe in Christ, who is the source of creation.
1. Christ is the way.
Life is a traveler on the road. This road is not a road that you have to go because you want to go, and you don't have to go because you don't want to go. Among the people in this room, older adults will see the wrinkles deepen. What do those wrinkles mean? It is a sign of suffering that you have come a long way. When I was young, hard work became exercise, but as I get older, I get bruised.
In the old days, the way of filial piety was the standard of human education, but today, it seems that everyone is changing to a self-centered life. No one in the world grows old because they want to get old. It's just a pity that the years don't stay. Time passes even at this moment. However, one must realize that people are not unhappy simply because of the passage of time and the problems of aging, but because they are unhappy because they have taken the wrong path.
What must a person do to be successful? Success doesn't come by itself, you have to run faster than others. But can you run and win without any direction? It's not like that. Just as there are rules in sports to win by following the rules, so is life.
The way to be saved is not through longevity, nor through wealth or authority. "I am the way" Please believe that Christ is the only way to eternal life.
2. I am the truth
Two thousand years ago, when the Lord, who stood before Pilate's court, said, "He who belongs to the truth hears my voice" (John 18:37), Pilate asked, "What is truth?" I did. Just as Pilate ruled people without knowing the truth, it is the same as living without knowing the truth today.
So what is the truth?
1) Truth is not knowledge that can be learned.
Of course, it refers to a school or academy as the hall of truth. But truth is more than physics or philosophy. This is because life problems are not solved by mastering worldly science and the gateway to eternal life is not opened.
2) Truth is not ethics or morality.
Because we are human, we have ethics and morals as well as shame and chastity as human beings. In addition, there must be a framework of conscience that can form a consensus. Ethics and morals are virtues that must be observed in life, but it cannot be the truth of eternal life.
3) Truth is not philosophy.
Philosophy is the study of life problems. However, it is only a human effort to try to solve it through contemplation, and the key to the solution is different. What is the question of philosophy? What is life, what do we have to live for, where are we going, where is the destination, and what will happen after that? is a problem. But the answer to this is that no iron man can do it.
Even today, young people are risking their lives to accuse social absurdity, while others are unable to escape from the delusion of communism. Are they really worth risking their lives for? If it's not the truth, you shouldn't risk your life for anything. Have you ever wondered what the truth is?
The Word of the Lord. “I am the truth.” Only Christ is the eternal truth. Therefore, I believe that when we accept Christ, our understanding of realizing this truth will be opened.
3. I am life
Do you want eternal life? Receive Christ as your Savior.
“I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25-26).
By that faith, Lazarus was raised from the grave. Eternal life without Christ is just the devil's snare. Do you believe in the afterlife? It is human wisdom to live today in preparation for that day.
Everything in the world returns to nothingness, but the kingdom of God is eternal. Still lost and wandering? Don't lose your chance.
I hope that you will not be enslaved by nothingness, but will receive the grace of opening your understanding of the truth. The grace of eternal life is a free gift of God.
“To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” (John 1:12-13).
“I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to his Father except through me” (v. 6).
I pray that the glory of heaven will be filled with the family and the road ahead that have become children of God by accepting the gospel of Christ Jesus. - Amen -
