복음의 시작

본문: 행1:1-11

 

우리는 초대 교회로 돌아가서 복음의 시작과 함께 일어난 성령의 역사 곧 은혜의 사역에 앞장서야 하겠습니다. 성령의 역사는 이천 년의 세월 속에서도 달라질 수 없는 영원한 진리의 역사입니다. 그러므로 오순절 이후 초대 교회와 함께 임한 성령의 사역은 오늘도 함께 하심을 믿습니다. 중요한 것은 경건의 능력입니다.

 

1. 사도행전의 저자

사도행전은 저자가 밝혀져 있지 않습니다. 그러나 누가복음과 본서의 서두에 동일한 인물 곧 데오빌로라는 이름이 등장하고, 양편 모두 그에게 바쳐진 것으로 보아 사도행전의 저자는 누가복음과 동일 인물임을 자연스럽게 알 수 있습니다.

누가에 대해서는 바울 서신(골4:14; 몬1:24; 딤후4:11)에 헬라인으로서 의사임을 밝히고 있습니다. 역사가 유세비우스(Eusebius)는 누가가 태어난 곳이 시리아 안디옥이라 하고, 램시(Ramsay)는 사도행전에서 빌립보의 지역을 생생히 묘사한 것을 보아 빌립보와 연관이 있다고 하였습니다. 특히 누가복음과 사도행전에는 의학적인 용어가 많이 나오는데 이 역시 의사인 누가의 저작설을 뒷받침해 주는 근거입니다.

 

2. 사도행전의 주제

"데오빌로여 내가 먼저 쓴 글에는 무릇 예수께서 행하시며 가르치시기를 시작하심부터 그가 택하신 사도들에게 성령으로 명하시고 승천하신 날까지의 일을 기록하였노라"(행 1:1-2).

이는 사도행전의 주제가 누가복음과 연관성이 있음을 의미하는 것입니다. 복음서는 예수님의 사역과 그의 말씀을 성령의 감동으로 기록한 것이라면, 사도행전은 예수님이 승천하신 후에 성령 받은 사도들이 증언한 복음의 발자취입니다.

중요한 것은 예수님이 요단강에서 세례받을 때 성령의 능력을 힘입어 복음을 선포했던 것같이(행10:37-38), 제자들도 성령의 능력을 받아 이 복음을 담대하게 증언하였습니다. 그러므로 사도행전의 역사는 그리스도의 복음과 연결 사역이요, 또한 땅에 이루어지는 하나님 나라의 모형으로서 땅끝까지 퍼져나가는 복음의 시작인 것입니다.

감사할 일은 우리가 이 대열에 일원이 되었다는 것입니다. 이 나라는 세속의 나라가 아닌, 은혜와 진리로 이루어지는 나라입니다. 그러므로 주의 복음이 땅끝까지 퍼지고 만민들이 이 은혜와 진리로 충만하게 될 때에 주의 영광은 온 세상에 넘치게 될 줄 믿습니다.

 

3. 부활하신 주님의 사역

삼일 만에 무덤에서 부활하신 주님께서는 여러 차례 제자들에게 보이셨고, 또 의심 많은 도마에게도 보이셨습니다. 그리하여 제자들이 그리스도의 부활에 대한 확신을 얻게 되었습니다. 바울은 고린도전서 15:5-8에서 이 사실들을 일목요연하게 기술하고 있습니다. 그러나 여기에도 주님께서 나타나신 사건 전체를 포함하고 있는 것은 아닙니다. 특히 부활하시고 승천하실 때까지 사십일이라는 기록은 본문에만 밝히고 있습니다.

"그가 고난 받으신 후에 또한 그들에게 확실한 많은 증거로 친히 살아계심을 나타내사 사십 일 동안 그들에게 보이시며 하나님 나라의 일을 말씀하시니라"(3절).

 

부활하신 후에 하신 사역의 특징

1) 동일한 진리를 증언하셨습니다.

이것이 귀중합니다. 주님의 생애를 다섯 부분으로 구분해 보면,

a. 기다림의 기간(탄생으로부터 요단강에서 요한에게 세례받을 때까지 삼십 년)

b. 광야 사십일의 시험 기간(시련과 영적인 준비)

c. 공생애 삼 년(실천)

d. 무덤 속 삼 일(하나님의 뜻을 이루시고 침묵)

e. 부활 후 사십일(확인, 증거, 결실)

우리를 구원하기 위한 주님의 임무가 여기서 끝난 것이 아니라 지금도 하나님의 보좌 우편에서 우리를 위해 기도하고 계십니다. 뿐만 아니라 때가 이르면 재림하실 것입니다. 중요한 것은 진리의 일관성입니다. 상황과 시간 따라 변하는 것은 진리가 될 수 없습니다. 우리는 누가복음(눅16:19-29)에서 홍포 입은 부자 이야기를 알고 있습니다. 그는 음부에 떨어진 후 낙원에 있는 아브라함에게 마지막 소원으로 나사로를 보내어 지상에 있는 다섯 형제에게 이 사실을 알리어서 지금이라도 믿고 구원받게 해달라고 부탁했습니다. 문제는 죽은 나사로를 다시 보낸다 할지라도 그들이 믿지 아니하리라는 것입니다. 이유가 무엇일까요? 모세와 선지자들을 믿지 않는 자는 죽은 자가 살아나도 믿지 않는다고 했습니다.

하늘로부터 온 표적 보여주기를 구하던 유대인들이 무덤에서 살아나온 나사로를 보고 믿었습니까?

“대제사장들이 나사로까지 죽이려고 모의하니 나사로 때문에 많은 유대인이 가서 예수를 믿음이러라”(요11:10-11).

주님께서 부활하신 후에 행하신 일도 동일한 복음이요. 보혜사 성령의 사역도 같은 복음입니다

"내가 아직 너희와 함께 있어서 이 말을 너희에게 하였거니와 보혜사 곧 아버지께서 내 이름으로 보내실 성령 그가 너희에게 모든 것을 가르치고 내가 너희에게 말한 모든 것을 생각나게 하리라"(요14;25-26).

"내가 아버지께로부터 너희에게 보낼 보혜사 곧 아버지께로부터 나오시는 진리의 성령이 오실 때에 그가 나를 증언하실 것이요"(요15:26).

2) 주의 나라를 교훈하셨습니다.

그리스도의 부활은 실현된 천국을 우리에게 보여주는 것입니다. 복음서에 보면 하나님의 나라와 그리스도는 연관되어 있습니다. 그렇다면 과연 천국은 어떠한 곳일까요?

"하나님의 나라는 먹는 것과 마시는 것이 아니요 오직 성령 안에 있는 의와 평강과 희락이라"(롬14:17). 다시 말씀드리면 천국은,

a. 하나님의 지배와 통치의 능력이 미치는 영역을 의미합니다(A Sphere of Saving Power).

b. 의의 영역입니다(A Sphere of Righteousness). 곧 불의가 용납될 수 없는 곳입니다.

"무엇이든지 속된 것이나 가증한 일 또는 거짓말하는 자는 결코 그리로 들어가지 못하되 오직 어린양의 생명책에 기록된 자들만 들어가리라"(계21:27).

"개들과 점술가들과 음행하는 자들과 살인자들과 우상숭배자들과 및 거짓말을 좋아하며 지어내는 자는 다 성 밖에 있으리라"(계22:15).

c. 모두가 만족하게 복을 누리는 곳입니다(A State of Blessedness).

"또 그가 수정같이 맑은 생명수의 강을 내게 보이니 하나님과 및 어린 양의 보좌로부터 나와서 길 가운데로 흐르더라 강 좌우에 생명나무가 있어 열두 가지 열매를 맺되 달마다 그 열매를 맺고 그 나무 잎사귀들은 만국을 치료하기 위하여 있더라"(계22:1-2).

중요한 것은 천국 영광이 그리스도의 생애와 죽음, 부활을 통해 우리에게 임하게 되었다는 사실입니다. 그러므로 구원받은 성도는 하나님께 영광을 돌리고 땅끝가지 이 복음을 전해야 합니다.

3) 재림을 교훈하셨습니다.

그리스도의 재림과 동시에 구원 사역은 완성되고 어둠에 속한 자들은 영원한 심판을 받게 됩니다. 불원간 모든 무릎을 예수의 이름에 꿇게 하시고 모든 입으로 예수 그리스도를 주라 시인하여 하나님 아버지께 영광 돌리는 새로운 세계가 펼쳐질 것입니다. 우리는 주님의 날에 부끄러움 당하지 않도록 주의해야 합니다. 그날에 받을 영광을 위해서 충성하십시오. 신실한 약속 붙들고 인내하십시오. 내가 받을 상급을 빼앗기지 않도록 주의해야 합니다. 주님께서 재림하시는 지상 최대의 날, 우리 모두 상 받는 성도들이 되어야 하겠습니다.

"갈릴리 사람들아 어찌하여 서서 하늘을 쳐다보느냐 너희 가운데서 하늘로 올려지신 이 예수는 하늘로 가심을 본 그대로 오시리라"(행1:11).

 

4. 마지막 분부

"사도와 함께 모이사 그들에게 분부하여 이르시되 예루살렘을 떠나지 말고 내게서 들은 바 아버지께서 약속하신 것을 기다리라 요한은 물로 세례를 베풀었으나 너희는 몇 날이 못 되어 성령으로 세례를 받으리라 하셨느니라"(4-5절).

주님께서 하시는 말씀이 무엇입니까? 요한의 물세례가 아니라 성령 세례입니다.

"그들이 모였을 때에 예수께 여쭈어 이르되 주께서 이스라엘 나라를 회복하심이 이 때니이까"(6절).

아직도 제자들은 세속의 왕국으로 잘못 인식하고 있었습니다.

"내 나라는 이 세상에 속한 것이 아니니라 만일 내 나라가 이 세상에 속한 것이었더라면 내 종들이 싸워 나로 유대인들에게 넘겨지지 않게 하였으리라 이제 내 나라는 여기에 속한 것이 아니니라"(요18:36).

'신한국 창조'의 새바람을 불러일으키는 오늘, 육백 년 수도 서울의 역사에서 역대 시장들 중에는 결재를 한 건도 하지 못하고 육 일 만에 물러나는 시장이 있었는가 하면 보건복지부 장관 역시 마찬가지였습니다. 보다 밝은 내일을 위해 정의 실현에 앞장서야 할 사람에게 불의가 있다면 용납할 수가 없을 것입니다. 그래도 "내 것 가지고 내가 마음대로 하는데 무슨 상관이냐"고 한다면 말은 되겠지요.

우리는 썩어질 것, 없어질 것, 욕된 것을 투자하여 영광된 것을 수확하는 진리의 역군입니다. 우리나라가 세계에서 가장 부를 누린다면 나쁠 것이 없지요. 그러나 그보다 더 귀한 것이 있다면 하늘나라가 이 땅에 이루어지는 것입니다.

"때와 시기는 아버지께서 자기의 권한에 두셨으니 너희가 알 바 아니요"(7절).

역시 하나님의 권한에 속한 부분은 주님께서 말씀하지 않으셨습니다. 그런데 이 말씀을 넘어서서 하나님의 영역을 침해하는 자가 있다면 이것은 에덴에서 선악과로 범죄하게한 마귀의 궤계임을 알아야 합니다.

"오직 성령이 너희에게 임하시면 그날을 알게 되리라" 이것은 마귀의 말입니다. 그것은 오직 아버지의 영역이기 때문에 아들도 천사도 알 수 없는 것입니다.

"오직 성령이 너희에게 임하시면 너희가 권능을 받고 예루살렘과 온 유대와 사마리아와 땅 끝까지 이르러 내 증인이 되리라 하시니라"(8절).

진리의 증인 역시 성령이 주인이 되고, 나는 종이 되리라는 말씀입니다.

내게서 능력이 나타나기를 원하십니까? 성령에 복종하십시오. 충직한 청지기 바울과 같이 우리도 나의 나 됨이 하나님의 은혜요, 많이 수고함도 하나님의 은혜라는 고백이 있기를 소원합니다.

복음의 시작이 성령으로 말미암아서라면 마지막 때 불림을 받은 우리들은 이제 성령으로 열매 맺어 영원한 영광에 이르기를 기원합니다. - 아멘 -

We must go back to the early church and take the lead in the work of the Holy Spirit, the work of grace, that happened with the beginning of the gospel. The work of the Holy Spirit is the work of eternal truth that cannot be changed even in two thousand years. Therefore, we believe that the work of the Holy Spirit that came with the early church after Pentecost is still with us today. What is important is the power of godliness.

 

1. Author of Acts

The author of Acts is not identified. However, the same person, Theophilus, appears at the beginning of the Gospel of Luke and this book, and both sides are dedicated to him, so it is natural to know that the author of Acts is the same person as the Gospel of Luke.

Regarding Luke, Paul’s epistles (Colossians 4:14; Phm 1:24; 2 Timothy 4:11) reveal that he was a Greek physician. The historian Eusebius said that Luke was born in Antioch, Syria, and Ramsay said that it was related to Philippi because he vividly described the area of ​​Philippi in the book of Acts. In particular, many medical terms appear in the Gospel of Luke and Acts, which also supports the authorship theory of Luke, a physician.

 

2. Theme of Acts

"In the first writings, O Theophilus, I wrote of all that Jesus began to do and teach, until the day he ascended into heaven, after giving orders by the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom he had chosen" (Acts 1:1-2).

This means that the theme of Acts is related to the Gospel of Luke. While the Gospels record the work of Jesus and his words under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, the Acts of the Apostles are the footprints of the Gospel testified by the apostles who received the Holy Spirit after Jesus ascended into heaven.

The important thing is that just as Jesus preached the gospel by the power of the Holy Spirit when he was baptized in the Jordan River (Acts 10:37-38), the disciples also received the power of the Holy Spirit to testify to this gospel boldly. Therefore, the history of the book of Acts is the work of connection with the gospel of Christ and the beginning of the gospel that spreads to the ends of the earth as a model of the kingdom of God on earth.

What we should be grateful for is that we have joined this rank. This is not a worldly country, but a country made up of grace and truth. Therefore, I believe that when the gospel of the Lord spreads to the ends of the earth and all peoples are filled with this grace and truth, the glory of the Lord will overflow in the whole world.

 

3. The work of the risen Lord

The Lord, who rose from the grave on the third day, appeared many times to his disciples, and also to the suspicious Thomas. This gave the disciples confidence in the resurrection of Christ. Paul outlines these facts in 1 Corinthians 15:5-8. However, this does not include the entirety of the Lord's appearances. In particular, the record of forty days from the time of the Resurrection to the Ascension into Heaven is revealed only in the text.

“After he suffered, he also revealed to them that he was alive by many sure proofs, appearing to them for forty days, and speaking of the kingdom of God” (verse 3).

 

Characteristics of His Ministry after His Resurrection

1) You testified of the same truth.

This is precious. If we divide the life of the Lord into five parts,

a. Period of waiting (thirty years from his birth to his baptism by John in the Jordan River)

b. Forty days of testing in the wilderness (trial and spiritual preparation)

c. 3 years of public service (practice)

d. Three Days in the Grave (God's will is fulfilled and silence)

e. Forty days after the resurrection (confirmation, evidence, fruition)

The Lord's mission to save us did not end here, but he is still praying for us at the right hand of God. Not only that, he will return in due time. What matters is the consistency of truth. Things that change with circumstances and time cannot be the truth. We know the story of the rich man in the scarlet robe from the Gospel of Luke (Luke 16:19-29). After he fell into hell, he sent Lazarus as his last wish to Abraham in paradise, asking him to tell his five brothers on earth that he might believe and be saved even now. The problem is that even if they sent Lazarus back, they wouldn't believe it. Why? Those who do not believe in Moses and the prophets do not believe even when the dead are raised.

Did the Jews who were seeking to show them a sign from heaven saw Lazarus raised from the tomb and believed?

“The chief priests conspired to kill even Lazarus, because because of Lazarus many Jews went and believed in Jesus” (John 11:10-11).

What the Lord did after His resurrection is the same gospel. The work of the Comforter and the Holy Spirit is the same gospel.

“I have spoken these words to you while I am still with you, but the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of all that I have said to you” (John 14:25-26).

“He will bear witness to me when the Counselor whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father” (John 15:26).

2) He taught the kingdom of the Lord.

The resurrection of Christ shows us the realized kingdom of heaven. In the Gospels, the kingdom of God and Christ are linked. If so, what kind of place is heaven?

“The kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit” (Romans 14:17). In other words, heaven

a. It means the realm of the power of God's dominion and rule (A Sphere of Saving Power).

b. A Sphere of Righteousness. Soon injustice is unacceptable.

“Nothing profane, nor an abomination, nor a liar shall enter it, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life” (Revelation 21:27).

“Dogs and sorcerers, and fornicators, and murderers, and idolaters, and all those who love and create lies outside the city” (Revelation 22:15).

c. A State of Blessedness where everyone is satisfied.

“And he showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, flowing out of the throne of God and of the Lamb and flowing in the middle of the road. was there to do this” (Rev 22:1-2).

The important thing is that the glory of heaven has come to us through the life, death, and resurrection of Christ. Therefore, the saved saints must glorify God and preach this gospel to the ends of the earth.

3) He taught the Second Coming.

At the same time as Christ's second coming, the work of salvation will be completed, and those who belong to darkness will receive eternal judgment. A new world will unfold in which every knee should bow at the name of Jesus and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, glorifying God the Father. We must be careful not to be put to shame in the day of the Lord. Be loyal to the glory you will receive on that day. Hold on to your faithful promises and be patient. I must be careful not to deprive me of my reward. On the greatest day on earth when the Lord returns, we must all become saints who receive rewards.

“Men of Galilee, why do you stand and look into heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven” (Acts 1:11).

 

4. Last Order

“They gathered together with the apostles, and commanded them, saying, ‘Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which you have heard from me; for John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit’” (4). -5).

What does the Lord say? It is not John's baptism with water, but the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

“When they were assembled, they inquired of Jesus, saying, Are you at this time restoring the kingdom of Israel?” (verse 6).

Still, the disciples misunderstood it as a secular kingdom.

“My kingdom is not of this world; if my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have fought so that I would not be delivered to the Jews. Now my kingdom is not of this world” (John 18:36).

Today, a new wind of 'Creating a New Korea' is evoked. In the history of the capital city of Seoul for six hundred years, some mayors resigned after six days without making a payment, and so did the Minister of Health and Welfare. It would be unacceptable for those who should take the lead in realizing justice for a brighter tomorrow. Still, if you say, "I do what I want with mine, what does it matter?" would make sense.

We are the workers of the truth, who invest in things that perish, perish, and disgrace, and harvest what is glorious. If Korea enjoys the wealthiest country in the world, there is nothing wrong with it. But if there is anything more precious than that, the kingdom of heaven will be established on this earth.

“It is not for you to know the times or seasons, which the Father has set in his own right” (verse 7).

Again, the Lord did not tell us the parts that belong to God's authority. However, if there is anyone who goes beyond this word and invades the realm of God, we must know that this is the devil's tactic that made us sin in the tree of knowledge in Eden.

“But you will know that day when the Holy Spirit comes on you.” These are the words of the devil. Because it is only the Father's realm, neither the Son nor the Angel can know it.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (verse 8).

The witness of the truth also says that the Holy Spirit will be the master, and I will be the servant.

Do you want your abilities to appear in me? Submit to the Holy Spirit. Just like the faithful steward Paul, I hope that we too will confess that what we are is God's grace and that our hard work is God's grace.

If the beginning of the gospel is through the Holy Spirit, we who were called in the last days pray that we will bear fruit through the Holy Spirit and reach eternal glory. - Amen -
