네가 나를 사랑하느냐

요21:15-19

 

오늘로 요한복음 강해가 막을 내리게 됩니다. 그러나 이것으로 요한복음이 담고 있는 진리가 모두 밝혀진 것은 아닙니다. 곡식이 온 세상에 가득하여도 요리하는 사람의 손길에 따라 영양을 달리 섭취할 수 있듯이 영의 양식도 마찬가지입니다. 중요한 것은 진리를 사모하는 마음입니다.

"나를 사랑하는 자들이 나의 사랑을 입으며 나를 간절히 찾는 자가 나를 만날 것이니라"(잠8:17).

부스러기 은혜로도 족한 줄 알고 주의 긍휼을 사모하던 여인에게 은혜 베푸신 주님은 오늘도 동일합니다.

 

1. 요한복음을 기록한 목적

복음서에 담긴 내용은 그리스도의 행적을 모두 기록한 것이 아닙니다.

"예수께서 제자들 앞에서 이 책에 기록되지 아니한 다른 표적도 많이 행하셨으나 오직 이것을 기록함은 너희로 예수께서 하나님의 아들 그리스도이심을 믿게 하려 함이요 또 너희로 믿고 그 이름을 힘입어 생명을 얻게 하려 함이니라

"(요20:30-31),

"예수께서 행하신 일이 이 외에도 많으니 만일 낱낱이 기록된다면 이 세상이라도 이 기록된 책을 두기에 부족할 줄 아노라"(요21:25).

요한복음을 기록한 목적을 밝히고 있는 두 가지 사실을 보면,

1) 예수께서 메시아임을 증명하기 위해서입니다.

유대인들이 그리스도를 불신한 이유가 어디에 있었습니까? 나사렛 목수인 요셉의 아들이 기록된 대로 오실 메시아가 될 수 없다는 데 있었습니다. 예수님은 성경대로 오셨고 성경대로 사시다가 죽으셨으나 유대인들은 성경을 바로 알지 못했습니다. 성경을 모르기는 오늘도 마찬가지입니다. 우리나라 인구의 ¼이상이 기독교인이라고 하나 아직도 우리의 주변을 살펴보면 구원받아야 할 영혼들이 얼마나 많습니까? 매일 출퇴근 시간이면 북새통을 이루는 그 많은 사람들이 ‘무슨 일로 그렇게 바삐 오고 갈까?’ 하는 생각을 해봅니다. 모두가 살기 위해서지요. 사는 날 동안은 더 잘 살기 위해서 애쓰는 사람들일 것입니다. 어디 그것뿐이겠습니까? 사람은 내일 종말을 맞는다 할지라도 영원을 사모하는 마음을 품고 살아갑니다. 그런데 영생의 길이 열려 있는데도 그 길을 등진다면 어떻게 될까요? 멸망에 이를 뿐입니다.

"의인의 소망은 즐거움을 이루어도 악인의 소망은 끊어지느니라"(잠10:28).

불행의 요인을 살펴보십시오. 그것은 가난이나 질병이 아니라 예수를 메시아로 알지 못하는 일입니다. 예수를 메시아로 밝혀주는 것이 복음이요, 그것을 선포하는 것이 전도입니다.

2) 그 이름을 힘입어 생명을 얻게 하기 위해서입니다.

이단이 등장할 때 다른 이름을 빙자하지 않고 나사렛 예수의 이름을 빙자하는 것을 보면, 귀신이 예수를 하나님의 아들로 알고 있다는 것이 사실입니다. 그런데 왜 귀신은 자신의 본색을 드러내지 않고 예수의 이름을 빙자하는지 아십니까? 그것은 귀신이 참 목자가 아니므로 양들을 유린하기 위해서입니다.

삯군과 이리들을 조심해야 합니다. 선한 목자 주님은 자신을 희생하여 양들을 살렸습니다. 미혹하는 자들은 "새로운 복음" 운운하면서 양들을 유린하고 있으나 그리스도 외에는 다른 목자가 있을 수 없듯이 주의 복음 외에는 다른 복음이 있을 수가 없습니다.

우리는 그리스도 외에 다른 이를 기다릴 이유도 믿을 대상도 없습니다. 오직 예수로 족할 뿐입니다. 그리스도는 어제나 오늘이나 영원토록 동일하시고, 회전하는 그림자도 없으십니다.

“예수 그리스도는 어제나 오늘이나 영원토록 동일하시니라”(히13:8).

“내 사랑하는 형제들아 속지 말라 온갖 좋은 은사와 온전한 선물이 다 위로부터 빛들의 아버지께로부터 내려오나니 그는 변함도 없으시고 회전하는 그림자도 없으시니라”(야1:16-17).

형통한 복을 누리십니까? 주님께 영광을 돌리십시오. 곤고가 있습니까? 주의 이름으로 기도하십시오.

응답해주실 줄 믿습니다. 영생 얻기를 원하십니까? 주의 품에 안겨서 영생 복락 누리시기 소원합니다.

 

2. 갈릴리로 돌아간 제자들

"시몬 베드로와 디두모라 하는 도마와 갈릴리 가나 사람 나다나엘과 세베대의 아들들과 또 다른 제자 둘이 함께 있더니 시몬 베드로가 나는 물고기 잡으러 가노라 하니 그들이 우리도 함께 가겠다 하고 나가서 배에 올랐으나"(2-3).

베드로가 믿음이 사라져서 갈릴리로 돌아간 것일까요? 그렇게 보기는 어려울 줄 압니다.

물론 그리스도의 부활을 접한 후에 고기 잡으러 가게 된 것은 사실입니다. 그러나 부활하신 주님께서 무덤을 찾은 여인들에게 나타나서 평안을 전하고 분부하시기를,

"가서 내 형제들에게 갈릴리로 가라 하라 거기서 나를 보리라 "(마28:10) 하셨습니다.

뿐만 아니라 오순절 성령이 임하시기까지 전이었기 때문입니다. 여기서 깨달아야 할 것은 주님께서 함께하지 아니하면 모두가 빈 그물 인생이 된다는 것입니다.

고기 잡으러 갔던 갈릴리에서 일어난 일들을 살펴보면,

1) 밤새 고기를 한 마리도 잡지 못한 제자들

"그날 밤에 아무 것도 잡지 못하였더니"(3절).

이는 마치 삼 년 전 주님을 처음 만나게 되었을 때를 연상하게 합니다.

차이가 있다면 처음에는 고기의 수를 밝히지 않았는데 본문에는 밝히고 처음에는 베드로가 주님 앞에 엎드려 "주여 나를 떠나소서 나는 죄인이로소이다"(눅5:8)하는 고백이 있었으나 본문에는 그것이 없다는 것입니다.

2) 말씀에 의해 일어난 기적

"예수께서 이르시되 얘들아 너희에게 고기가 있느냐 대답하되 없나이다 이르시되 그물을 배 오른편에 던지라 그리하면 잡으리라 하시니 이에 던졌더니 물고기가 많아 그물을 들 수 없더라"(5-6).

처음 만났을 때는 "깊은 데로 가서 그물을 내려 고기를 잡으라"(눅5:4) 하셨는데 본문에는 "배 오른편에 던지라" 고 하셨습니다. 물론 배 오른편과 깊은 곳에도 어떠한 의미가 있겠으나 중요한 것은 주님께서 명하셨다는데 있습니다. 하나님은 자연의 운행과 질서를 주장하십니다. 그러므로 주님께서 함께하시지 않으시면 나는 무익한 죄인이라는 사실을 깨닫고 겸손한 마음으로 복종하여 구원받는 성도들이 되시기를 소원합니다.

3) 음식을 함께 하셨습니다.

"예수께서 이르시되 와서 조반을 먹으라 하시니 제자들이 주님이신 줄 아는 고로 당신이 누구냐 감히 묻는 자가 없더라 예수께서 가셔서 떡을 가져다가 그들에게 주시고 생선도 그와 같이 하시니라"(12-13).

"그들이 너무 기쁘므로 아직도 믿지 못하고 놀랍게 여길 때에 이르시되 여기 무슨 먹을 것이 있느냐 하시니 이에 구운 생선 한 토막을 드리니 받으사 그 앞에서 잡수시더라"(눅 24:41-43).

부활하신 주님께서는 육신으로 계셨을 때와 달리 음식을 필요로 해서가 아니라 제자들의 확신을 위해서임을 믿으셔야 합니다.

그리스도의 부활을 목도한 제자들은 전과 달리 주님을 어떻게 따르고 섬겨야 할지 한동안은 혼동이 있었을 줄 압니다. 왜냐하면 문이 닫혀있는 상태에서도 갑자기 나타나셔서 "너희에게 평강이 있을지어다" 말씀하시고 또 순식간에 모습을 감추시므로 시공을 초월하신 부활의 진리를 깨닫기까지는 문제가 되지 않을 수 없었을 것입니다.

"예수께서 친히 그들 가운데 서서 이르시되 너희에게 평강이 있을지어다 하시니 그들이 놀라고 무서워하여 그 보는 것을 영으로 생각하는지라 예수께서 이르시되 어찌하여 두려워하며 어찌하여 마음에 의심이 일어나느냐 내 손과 발을 보고 나인 줄 알라 또 나를 만져 보라 영은 살과 뼈가 없으되 너희 보는 바와 같이 나는 있느니라"(눅24:36-39).

이제 주님은 시공을 초월하시는 영화로운 몸인데 제자들은 여전히 전과 같은 생각을 하고 있었던 것입니다. 그러므로 제자들이 의심을 풀어주기 위해 음식을 드셨습니다.

 

3. 베드로에게 분부하신 말씀

"그들이 조반 먹은 후에 예수께서 시몬 베드로에게 이르시되 요한의 아들 시몬아 네가 이 사람들보다 나를 더 사랑하느냐"(15절).

주님은 "게바" 곧 베드로라 부르지 않고 시몬이라고 하신데 유의하시기 바랍니다. 또 세 번이나 주님을 모른다고 부인했던 일과 무관하지 않다고 보아야 할 것입니다.

"네가 이 사람들보다 나를 더 사랑하느냐"(15절).

이 말씀은 남성이 아닌 중성으로서 '이것들'이라는 말씀으로 사람은 물론이거니와 배와 기구, 잡힌 고기, 모두가 다 해당이 됩니다. 바울은 그리스도를 위해 모든 것을 배설물같이 포기했습니다.

"주 예수보다 더 귀한 것은 없네 이 세상 부귀와 바꿀 수 없네

영 죽을 내 대신 돌아가신 그 놀라운 사랑 잊지 못해

세상 즐거움 다 버리고 세상 자랑 다 버렸네

주 예수보다 더 귀한 것은 없네 예수밖에는 없네"

또 이 질문은 마지막 만찬에서 그가 맹세한 것과 연관이 있습니다.

“모두 주를 버릴지라도 나는 결코 버리지 않겠나이다”(마26:33).

“주를 위하여 내 목숨을 버리겠나이다”(요13:37).

그러므로 주님께서는 “네가 이 사람들보다 나를 더 사랑하느냐” 하고 물으실 때 “아가파오”로 물으셨고 베드로는 그렇게 대답하지 못하고 “필레오” 하나이다 했습니다. 두 번째도 “아가파오”로 물으셨고 베드로는 “필레오”로 대답할 수 밖에 없었고 세 번째는 주님께서 “필레오”로 물으셨고 베드로도 “필레오”로 대답했습니다. 그런데 주님께서는 “내 어린 양을 먹이라” “내 양을 치라” “내 양을 먹이라”고 하셨습니다. 이것은 세 번이나 주님을 부인한 베드로에게 다시 베푸신 은혜입니다.

여러분! 진실로 주님을 사랑하십니까? 내게 직분을 맡겨주신 주님의 분부를 들으십시오. '네가 나를 사랑하느냐' '내 어린양을 먹이라' '내 양을 치라' ' 내 양을 먹이라' 지금도 나의 손길이 필요한 주님의 양들을 위해서 충성을 다하시기 소원합니다.

 

4. 베드로의 최후

"내가 진실로 진실로 네게 이르노니 네가 젊어서는 스스로 띠 띠고 원하는 곳으로 다녔거니와 늙어서는 네팔을 벌리리니 남이 네게 띠 띠우고 원하지 아니하는 곳으로 데려가리라 이 말씀을 하심은 베드로가 어떠한 죽음으로 하나님께 영광을 돌릴 것을 가리키심이러라"(18-19).

여기서 주님께서는 베드로의 순교를 말씀하시는데 이는 수제자 베드로에 대한 특별한 섭리로 그가 받을 면류관입니다. 베드로에 대한 주님의 예언은 터툴리안이 베드로의 순교를 처음으로 전하고 오리겐이 거꾸로 못박혀 죽었다고 말한 것을 근거로 베드로는 그로부터 34년이 지난 후에 죽었다는 설과, 또 주후 64년 7월에 네로 황제에 의해 로마에서 십자가에 거꾸로 못 박혀 죽었다는 설로 전해지고 있습니다.

인생은 그림자 같고 베틀의 북과 같이 지나갑니다.

여러분! 하나뿐인 생명을 어떻게 사시렵니까? 이 땅에 복음의 씨를 뿌린 선교사들은 “내게 천개의 목숨이 있다면 모두를 복음 위해 이 땅에 바치겠다”는 마지막 말을 남기고 순교하였습니다.

모든 것이 허무로 돌아가되 순교자의 영광은 영원토록 빛나고 있다는 사실을 알았다면 우리 모두 순교를 다짐하고 의의 면류관 받아쓰는 성도들이 되시기를 기원합니다. - 아멘 -

 

 

Do you love me

John 21:15-19

 

Today marks the end of the exposition of the Gospel of John. However, this did not reveal all the truths contained in the Gospel of John. Even if the whole world is full of grain, the food of the spirit can be obtained differently depending on the hand of the cook. What is important is a heart that longs for the truth.

“I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me” (Proverbs 8:17).

The Lord who gave grace to a woman who longed for His mercy, knowing that even a piece of grace was enough, is the same today.

 

1. Purpose of writing the Gospel of John

The Gospels do not record all the works of Christ.

“Jesus performed many other signs before his disciples that were not written in this book, but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

"(John 20:30-31),

“There are many other things that Jesus did, and if they are all written down, I know that even the world would not be enough to contain these books” (John 21:25).

If we look at the two facts that clarify the purpose of writing the Gospel of John,

1) To prove that Jesus is the Messiah.

Why did the Jews distrust Christ? It was that the son of Joseph, a carpenter of Nazareth, could not be the Messiah to come as it was written. Jesus came according to the Bible, lived according to the Bible, and then died, but the Jews did not understand the Bible right away. It is the same today as we do not know the Bible. Although more than a quarter of our population is Christian, how many souls need to be saved when we look around us? Every day, during rush hour, so many people who make up the crowd think, 'What makes you come and go so busy?' for everyone to live. For the days of their lives, they will be those who strive to live a better life. where would it be? Even if the end will come tomorrow, people live with longing for eternity. But what if the road to eternal life is open and you turn your back on it? It only leads to destruction.

“The hope of the righteous brings joy, but the hope of the wicked is lost” (Proverbs 10:28).

Look at the factors of unhappiness. It is not poverty or disease, it is not knowing Jesus as the Messiah. Revealing Jesus as the Messiah is the gospel, and proclaiming it is evangelism.

2) In order to have life through his name.

When cults appear in the name of Jesus of Nazareth instead of using other names, it is true that the demons know Jesus as the Son of God. But do you know why demons don't reveal their true nature and use the name of Jesus? It is because the demon is not the true shepherd and thus ravages his sheep.

You have to watch out for the workers and the wolves. The Good Shepherd The Lord sacrificed himself to save the sheep. Those who deceive are raving about the "new gospel" and ravaging the sheep, but just as there can be no other shepherd except Christ, there is no other gospel except the Lord's gospel.

We have no reason to wait or believe in anyone other than Christ. Only Jesus is enough. Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and there is no rotating shadow.

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).

“Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren, for every good gift and every perfect gift comes down from above, from the Father of lights, who does not change, nor is there shadow of turning” (James 1:16-17).

Are you enjoying your prosperity? Glory be to the Lord. Do you have gongo? Pray in the name of the Lord.

I trust you will respond. Do you want eternal life? I hope that you will be embraced by the Lord and enjoy the happiness of eternal life.

 

2. The Disciples Return to Galilee

“Simon Peter, Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael the Canaan of Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples were with them. Simon Peter said, ‘I am going fishing. .

Did Peter lose faith and return to Galilee? He knows how difficult it is to see.

Of course, it is true that I went fishing after hearing the resurrection of Christ. But the resurrected Lord appeared to the women who had found the tombs, preaching peace and commanding them,

He said, "Go and tell my brethren to go to Galilee, and there you will see me" (Matthew 28:10).

Not only that, but it was before the Holy Spirit came on the Day of Pentecost. What we need to realize here is that if the Lord is not with us, we will all become empty nets.

If we look at what happened in Galilee, where we went fishing,

1) The disciples did not catch a single fish all night

“They caught nothing that night” (verse 3).

It reminds me of when I first met the Lord three years ago.

If there is a difference, the number of meat was not revealed at first, but the text reveals it. At first, Peter fell down before the Lord and said, "Leave me, Lord, for I am a sinner" (Luke 5:8), but there was no such confession in the text.

2) Miracles caused by the Word

“Jesus said to them, “Children, do you have any fish?” He answered, “No.” He said to them, “Cast your net on the right side of the boat, and you will catch it.” Then they threw it, but there were many fish, and the net could not be lifted” (5-6).

When he first met him, he said, "Go out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch" (Luke 5:4). Of course, the right side of the boat and the depths have some meaning, but the important thing is that the Lord has commanded it. God insists on the operation and order of his nature. Therefore, if the Lord is not with me, I hope that you will realize that I am a worthless sinner and obey you with a humble heart to become the saints who are saved.

3) We had food together.

“Jesus said to him, ‘Come and eat breakfast.’ But no one dared to ask who you are, because the disciples knew it was the Lord. So Jesus went and took some bread and gave it to them, and so did the fish” (12-13).

“They were so happy that they still did not believe and were astonished, saying, “Do you have anything to eat here?” Then he offered them a piece of grilled fish, and he took it and ate it in front of them” (Luke 24:41-43).

You must believe that the resurrected Lord did not need food as he did when he was in the flesh, but for the assurance of his disciples.

The disciples who witnessed the resurrection of Christ must have been confused for a while as to how to follow and serve the Lord, unlike before. Because even when the door was closed, he suddenly appeared and said, "Peace be with you," and disappeared in an instant.

“Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.” They were astonished and terrified, and they thought that what they saw was a spirit. Allah, touch me; a spirit does not have flesh and bones, but as you see I have” (Luke 24:36-39).

Now, the Lord is a glorious body that transcends time and space, and the disciples still had the same thoughts as before. Therefore, the disciples ate food to dispel their doubts.

 

3. The Word to Peter

“After they had had breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?” (verse 15).

Please note that the Lord does not call him "Cephas," which is Peter, but Simon. He must also see that it has nothing to do with the fact that he denied knowing the Lord three times.

“Do you love me more than these?” (verse 15).

This word is neuter, not masculine, and the word 'these' applies not only to humans, but also boats, equipment, and caught fish. Paul gave up everything for Christ's sake.

"There is nothing more precious than the Lord Jesus

I can't forget the amazing love that died in my place to die forever

He threw away all the joys of the world and all the pride of the world.

There is nothing more precious than the Lord Jesus, but Jesus."

This question also has to do with his oath at the Last Supper.

“Even if all forsake you, I will never forsake you” (Matthew 26:33).

“I will lay down my life for you” (John 13:37).

Therefore, when the Lord asked, “Do you love me more than these people?” He asked “Agapaus” and Peter did not answer that, but said “Phileo.” The second time he asked “Agapaus”, and Peter had no choice but to answer “Phileo”, and the third time the Lord asked “Phileo” and Peter answered “Phileo”. But the Lord said, “Feed my lambs,” “Feed my sheep,” and “Feed my sheep.” This is the grace given again to Peter, who denied the Lord three times.

everyone! Do you truly love the Lord? Listen to the command of the Lord who has entrusted me with the ministry. 'Do you love me?' 'Feed my lambs' 'Feed my sheep' 'Feed my sheep' I hope that you will be faithful to the sheep of the Lord who still need my help.

 

4. Peter's End

“Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were young, you girded yourself and went wherever you wanted. But when you are old, you will stretch out Nepal, and another will gird you and take you where you do not want to go. to point to things” (18-19).

Here, the Lord speaks of Peter's martyrdom, which is the crown he will receive as a special providence for his disciple Peter. The Lord's prophecies about Peter are based on the fact that Tertullian first reported Peter's martyrdom and that Origen had been crucified upside down, and Peter died 34 years after that.

There is also a theory that he was crucified upside down in Rome by Emperor Nero in July 64 AD.

His life is like a shadow and passes like a loom's drum.

everyone! How do you live your one and only life? The missionaries who sowed the seeds of the gospel in this land were martyred with the last words, “If I had a thousand lives, I would dedicate all of them to this land for the gospel.”

If you know that everything will return to vain, but the martyr's glory shines forever, I hope that all of us will commit to martyrdom and become saints who dictate the crown of righteousness. - Amen -
