참 자유

요8:29-47

 

주님께서는 항상 하나님과 동행하셨는데 이는 하나님이 기뻐하시는 일을 행하였기 때문입니다.

"나를 보내신 이가 나와 함께 하시도다 나는 항상 그가 기뻐하시는 일을 행하므로 나를 혼자 두지 아니하셨느니라"(29절).

에녹도 하나님과 동행했습니다.

"믿음으로 에녹은 죽음을 보지 않고 옮겨졌으니 하나님이 그를 옮기심으로 다시 보이지 아니하였느니라 그는 옮겨지기 전에 하나님을 기쁘시게 하는 자라 하는 증거를 받았느니라"(히11:5).

하나님과 동행하는 자는 하나님의 뜻을 따라 항상 하나님을 기쁘시게 하는 사람입니다. 주님께서 세상에 오신 것이 하나님의 기뻐하신 뜻이요, 마지막 십자가를 앞에 놓고 기도하실 때에도 “나의 원대로 마옵시고 아버지의 원대로 하옵소서”(마26:39) 하고 기도하셨습니다. 하나님과 동행하기를 원하십니까? 하나님의 뜻을 따라 순종하십시오.

 

1. 예수 그리스도의 참 제자

"예수께서 자기를 믿은 유대인들에게 이르시되 너희가 내 말에 거하면 참으로 내 제자가 되고 진리를 알지니 진리가 너희를 자유롭게 하리라"(32절).

우리는 그리스도의 참 제자라는 직분이 얼마나 귀중한가를 깨달아야 하겠습니다. 예수 그리스도의 참된 제자가 되려면 어떤 사람이 되어야 할까요?

1) 믿음이 확고해야합니다.

삼 년 동안 주님을 따르는 제자 중에 많은 기적과 권능을 접하고도 예수를 메시아로 믿지 않았던 가룟 유다는 주님을 은 삼십에 내주고 스스로 목을 매어 자살하였고, 아나니아와 삽비라는 서원한 성물의 일부를 숨겨두었다가 불행하게 죽었습니다. 우리는 어떻습니까? 주님의 제자라면 확고한 믿음 위에 서야 합니다.

2) 말씀 안에 거해야 합니다.

"너희가 내 말에 거하면 참으로 내 제자가 되고"(31절)

참 제자는 스승의 교훈뿐만 아니라 그 정신을 이어받아야 합니다. 유대인들이 그처럼 그리스도를 미워했던 이유가 어디에 있었습니까? 그들 안에 말씀이 없었기 때문입니다.

"나도 너희가 아브라함의 자손인 줄 아노라 그러나 내 말이 너희 안에 있을 곳이 없으므로 나를 죽이려하는도다"(37절).

메시아를 대망하던 그들이 주의 말씀을 받아들이지 않으므로 예수를 미워하고 십자가에 못 박아 죽이고 말았습니다.

"내 말이 너희 안에 있을 곳이 없으므로"(37절).

이는 듣는 귀가 열리지 않았다는 이유도 되겠으나 진리를 진리로 받아들이지 아니하고 비진리로 배격함을 의미하는 것입니다. 그러므로 조심해야 합니다. 진리를 외면하지 마십시오.

"너희가 내 안에 거하고 내 말이 너희 안에 거하면 무엇이든지 원하는 대로 구하라 그리하면 이루리라"(요15:7).

우리 모두 진리 안에 거하여 응답받는 기도로 더 큰 은혜 힘입기 소원합니다.

 

2. 참된 자유

자유는 누구에게 예속되지 않고 기본적인 권리가 보장된 가운데서 주권 행사를 할 수 있는 것을 의미합니다. 그러나 세상에서 말하는 자유와 진리 안에서 누릴 수 있는 자유는 근본적인 차이가 있습니다.

근간에 제 삼국을 통해 넘어오는 북한의 귀순자들이 늘어나고 있습니다. 앞으로 숫자가 많아질 것에 대비하여 수용 능력에 따른 대책이 있어야 할 것입니다. 그러나 휴전선을 넘으면 죽을 자가 살아날 뿐 아니라 자유를 누리게 되는 것은 사실이지만 그것은 정치적인 자유일 뿐 죄에서 해방된 자유가 아님을 기억해야 합니다.

"진리가 자유롭게 한 사람은 자유인이다. 그러나 그 밖의 모든 사람은 노예다"(쿠퍼)라고 했습니다. 그렇다면 참된 자유는 어떻게 누릴 수 있을까요?

1) 진리를 깨달을 때 누릴 수 있습니다.

"너희가 내 말에 거하면 참으로 내 제자가 되고 진리를 알지니 진리가 너희를 자유롭게 하리라"(31-32).

이는 어떠한 이념이나 정치체제에서가 아닙니다. 오직 주의 진리가 참된 자유를 주리라는 말씀입니다. 독수리의 자유가 마음껏 창공을 날 수있는 것이고, 맹수의 자유는 아무런 제약 없이 사냥을 할 수 있는 것이라면, 영생을 염원하는 인간에게 있어서의 자유는 사망에서 해방을 받고 구원에 이르는 자유입니다. 이러한 자유를 누가 줄 수가 있습니까? 나를 위해 죽으시고 부활하신 그리스도이십니다. 바울의 고백입니다.

"누가 우리를 그리스도의 사랑에서 끊으리요 환난이나 곤고나 박해나 기근이나 적신이나 위험이나 칼이랴 기록된 바 우리가 종일 주를 위하여 죽임을 당하게 되며 도살당할 양같이 여김을 받았나이다 함과 같으니라 그러나 이 모든 일에 우리를 사랑하시는 이로 말미암아 우리가 넉넉히 이기느니라”(롬8:35-37).

예수 그리스도 안에 있는 성도들은 육신을 가진 사람이면서 또 율법을 초월한 영의 사람이므로 진리 안에서 영원한 자유를 누리게 되는 것입니다. 이렇게 귀중한 선물을 값없이 주셨는데 깨닫지 못한다면 이것이 곧 불행입니다.

"어찌하여 내 말을 깨닫지 못하느냐 이는 내 말을 들을 줄 알지 못함이로다"(43절).

2) 죄를 다스릴 때 누릴 수 있습니다.

"진실로 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 죄를 범하는 자마다 죄의 종이라 종은 영원히 집에 거하지 못하되 아들은 영원히 거하나니”(34-35).

사람이 죄를 범하면 거미줄에 걸려든 나비처럼 죄의 포승줄이 우리를 결박하여 벗어날 수 없는 것입니다. 인간의 불행이 무엇입니까? 죄의 멍에 아래서 벗어나지 못하고 사망으로 끌려가는 것입니다. 은혜의 멍에 아래 있는 성도들은 그렇지 않습니다.

한 편은 흑암과 사망으로 끌려가는 멍에요, 한 편은 빛 가운데서 하늘나라를 향해 나아가는 멍에입니다. 은혜의 멍에 아래 있는 성도에게는 그 멍에가 영광에 이르게 하지만, 죄의 멍에 아래 있는 자들은 멸망에 이르게 하는 것입니다.

그러므로 우리는 마귀의 올무를 조심해야 합니다.

"그들이 대답하되 우리가 아브라함의 자손이라 남의 종이 된 적이 없거늘 어찌하여 우리가 자유롭게 되리라 하느냐"(33절).

이것이 거짓말입니다. 그 조상들은 애굽에서 종살이를 하였고 바벨론에 포로로 잡혀갔으며, 앗수르를 비롯하여 강대국에 매여 종살이하였고, 지금도 로마의 치세 하에 있었기 때문입니다. 물론 그들이 하나님을 섬기는 신앙을 두고 그 말을 하였을지라도 메시아를 배격하기 때문입니다. 그들은 위선의 탈을 쓰고 마귀에게 결박되어 있으나 그것을 알지 못하고 있는 것입니다. 뿐만 아니라 죄와 타협하여 죄의 노예가 되는 것을 용납해서 안 됩니다. 엄하게 다스리십시오. 정과 욕심을 십자가에 못 박아야 합니다.

"죄의 삯은 사망이요 하나님의 은사는 그리스도 예수 우리 주 안에 있는 영생이니라"(롬6:23).

 

3. 아브라함의 행사

"나는 내 아버지에게서 본 것을 말하고 너희는 너희 아비에게서 들은 것을 행하느니라 대답하여 이르되 우리 아버지는 아브라함이라 하니 예수께서 이르시되 너희가 아브라함의 자손이면 아브라함이 행한 일들을 할 것이거늘"(38-39).

유의할 것은 아브라함의 혈통을 이어받은 후손과 약속의 후손은 다르다는 것입니다. 아브라함이 믿음의 조상이라 할지라도 혈통만 이어받은 후손이라면 이방인들과 다를 바 없기 때문입니다.

“하나님이 아브라함에게 이르시되 네 아이나 네 여종으로 말미암아 근심하지 말고 사라가 네게 이른 말을 다 들으라 이삭에게서 나는 자라야 네 씨라 부를 것임이니라”(창21:12).

"형제들아 내가 이것을 말하노니 혈과 육은 하나님 나라를 이어받을 수 없고 또한 썩는 것은 썩지 아니하는 것을 유업으로 받지 못하느니라"(고전 15:50).

유대인의 자랑이 무엇입니까? 노벨상을 많이 받고, 경제적인 여력이 뛰어나고, 교육 열의가 좋다는 것일까요? 그런 것으로도 하나님 나라를 유업으로 받을 수 없다는 것은 마찬가지입니다. 오직 "아브라함의 행사" 그것이 중요합니다.

"지금 하나님께 들은 진리를 너희에게 말한 사람인 나를 죽이려 하는도다 아브라함은 이렇게 하지 아니하였느니라"(40절).

아브라함은 범사에 믿음으로 복종하여 하나님의 뜻을 준행했습니다. 그런데 유대인들은 하나님의 말씀을 거역할 뿐 아니라 도리어 그리스도를 죽이려 하고 있습니다. 그것이 아브라함의 행사입니까? 그럴 수 없습니다.

"너희는 너희 아비가 행한 일들을 하는도다 대답하되 우리가 음란한 데서 나지 아니하였고 아버지는 한 분 뿐이시니 곧 하나님이시로다"(41절).

말은 옳게 하면서 행위는 마귀의 행사입니다.

"그러므로 무엇이든지 그들이 말하는 바는 행하고 지키되 그들이 하는 행위는 본받지 말라"(마23:3).

"예수께서 이르시되 하나님이 너희 아버지였으면 너희가 나를 사랑하였으리니 이는 내가 하나님께로부터 나와서 왔음이라 나는 스스로 온 것이 아니요 아버지께서 나를 보내신 것이니라"(42절).

 

4. 마귀의 행사

"너희는 너희 아비 마귀에게서 났으니 너희 아비의 욕심대로 너희도 행하고자 하느니라 그는 처음부터 살인한 자요 진리가 그 속에 없으므로 진리에 서지 못하고 거짓을 말할 때마다 제 것으로 말하나니 이는 그가 거짓말쟁이요 거짓의 아비가 되었음이라"(44절).

마귀의 근본과 본색을 여기서 다 밝히고 있습니다. 불행한 일은 마귀는 처음부터 진리를 대적하고 인간을 타락시켰는데, 유대인들이 마귀에게 사로잡혀 그리스도를 대적하고 있다는 것입니다.

마귀를 보십시오. 그는 처음부터 살인한 자요, 진리가 그 속에 없는 자요, 진리에 서지 못하는 자라 하였습니다. 마귀는 위장하는 기술이 뛰어납니다. 그는 저주받은 영으로서 구원을 운운하나 진리가 없으므로 멸망에 이를 뿐입니다. 마귀에게는 진리가 없다는 사실을 기억하십시오.

"거짓을 말할 때마다 제것으로 말하나니"(44절).

무슨 말씀입니까? 거짓말은 근본이 마귀에게 있으므로 마귀는 무슨 말을 할지라도 진리가 될 수 없다는 것입니다.

"내가 받은 말세의 복음이다" "내가 받은 계시다" 하며 모든 은사에 전매특허를 받은 것같이 행사하는 것은 다 주의해야 할 이단입니다. 주님의 말씀입니다.

"내가 진실로 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 아들이 아버지께서 하시는 일을 보지 않고는 아무 것도 스스로 할 수 없나니 아버지께서 행하시는 그것을 아들도 그와 같이 행하느니라"(요5:19).

마귀는 처음부터 거짓말쟁이요, 거짓의 아비입니다. 그러므로 천사와 같은 말을 한다고 할지라도 그것은 여전히 거짓일 뿐입니다. 참 자유가 무엇입니까? 진리 안에 있는 영생의 자유입니다. 이 믿음 위에 굳게 서서 마귀의 화전을 소멸하고 승리하는 성도들이 되시기를 기원합니다. -아멘-

 

 

True freedom

John 8:29-47

 

The Lord always walked with God because he did what was pleasing to God.

“He who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, because I always do what pleases him” (verse 29).

Enoch also walked with God.

“By faith Enoch was taken away so that he might not see death, because God had removed him, and he was found no more.

Those who walk with God are those who always please God according to God's will. It is God's pleasing will that the Lord came into the world, and even as he prayed before the last cross, he prayed, “Not my will, but Yours be done” (Matthew 26:39). Does he want to walk with God? Be obedient to God's will.

 

1. A true disciple of Jesus Christ

“Jesus said to the Jews who believed in him, If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (verse 32).

We must realize how precious the office of true disciples of Christ is. What kind of person must one be to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ?

1) You must have a firm belief.

Among the disciples who followed the Lord for three years, Judas Iscariot, who did not believe in Jesus as the Messiah despite experiencing many miracles and powers, gave up the Lord for thirty pieces of silver and hung himself by hanging himself. died horribly. How are we? If you are a disciple of the Lord, you must stand on firm faith.

2) We must abide in the Word.

“If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples” (verse 31).

A true disciple must inherit not only the teacher's lessons, but also the spirit. Why did the Jews hate Christ so much? Because there was no word in them.

“I know that you are Abraham’s descendants, but you seek to kill me, because my words have no place in you” (verse 37).

They waited for the Messiah, but because they did not accept the word of the Lord, they hated Jesus and crucified Him to death.

“My words have no place in you” (verse 37).

This may be the reason that their ears were not opened, but it also means that they do not accept the truth as truth and reject it as untruth. So be careful. Do not turn away from the truth.

“If you abide in me and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you” (John 15:7).

I hope that all of us will abide in the truth and receive greater grace through answered prayers.

 

2. True freedom

Freedom means that you are not subject to anyone and that you can exercise your sovereignty with basic rights guaranteed. However, there is a fundAmental difference between the freedom spoken of in the world and the freedom enjoyed in the truth.

In recent years, the number of North Korean defectors entering through third countries is increasing. In case the number increases in the future, there should be measures according to the capacity. However, while it is true that crossing the Armistice Line not only brings the dead to life but also gives them freedom, we must remember that it is only political freedom, not freedom from sin.

"He who the truth sets free is a free man, but everyone else is a slave" (Cooper). So, how can we enjoy true freedom?

1) You can enjoy it when you realize the truth.

“If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (31-32).

This is not in any ideology or political system. Only the truth of the Lord will give you true freedom. If the freedom of an eagle is to be able to fly freely in the sky, and the freedom of a wild beast to hunt without any restrictions, for a human who desires eternal life, freedom is freedom from death and salvation. Who can give you this freedom? It is the Christ who died and rose for me. Paul's confession.

“Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, For your sake we are killed all day long, and we are counted as sheep to be slaughtered. In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us” (Romans 8:35-37).

The saints who are in Jesus Christ enjoy eternal freedom in the truth because they have a body and are spiritual people that transcend the law. If you do not realize this precious gift freely, this is bad luck.

“Why do you not understand my words, for you do not know how to listen to me” (verse 43).

2) You can enjoy it when you control your sins.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin; a servant does not remain in the house forever, but the son abides forever” (34-35).

When a person commits a sin, like a butterfly caught in a spider's web, the web of sin binds us and we cannot escape. What is human misery? They cannot escape from the yoke of sin and are led to death. The saints under the yoke of grace are not.

On the one hand is the yoke of being led into darkness and death, and on the other hand, the yoke of moving toward the kingdom of heaven in the light. For those who are under the yoke of grace, that yoke leads to glory, but for those who are under the yoke of sin it leads to destruction.

Therefore, we must beware of the devil's snare.

"They answered, "We are Abraham's children, and we have never been slaves, so why do you say that we will be set free?" (verse 33).

This is a lie. This is because their ancestors were enslaved in Egypt, taken captive to Babylon, enslaved by powerful powers including Assyria, and were still under the rule of Rome. Of course, it is because they reject the Messiah, even if they say that about their faith in serving God. They wear the guise of hypocrisy and are bound by the devil, but they do not know it. Moreover, we must not compromise with sin and allow ourselves to become slaves to it. Be strict. Passion and lust must be crucified.

“The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).

 

3. Abraham's Events

“I speak what I have seen from my father, and you do what you have heard from your father.” He answered and said, “Our father is Abraham.” Jesus said, “If you are Abraham’s descendants, you will do the works that Abraham did” (38-39).

Note that the descendants of Abraham's lineage are different from the descendants of the promise. Even though Abraham is the father of faith, he is no different from the Gentiles if he is a descendant of only blood.

“God said to Abraham, “Do not be troubled over your child or your maidservant, but listen to all that Sarah has spoken to you, for through Isaac your descendants will be called” (Genesis 21:12).

“I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor do perishables inherit incorruption” (1 Corinthians 15:50).

What is the pride of the Jews? Is it because they have won many Nobel Prizes, are financially strong, and have a good passion for education? Even with such things, it is the same as not being able to inherit the kingdom of God. Only the “work of Abraham” that matters.

“Now they are trying to kill me, the man who told you the truth I heard from God. Abraham did not do this” (verse 40).

Abraham obeyed in everything by faith and did the will of God. However, the Jews not only disobeyed God's Word, but instead tried to kill Christ. Is that Abraham's event? You can't.

“You do the works of your father,” he answered, “we are not born of fornication, and there is only one Father, God” (verse 41).

Words are right and actions are the devil's work.

“Therefore, whatever they say, do and observe, but do not imitate what they do” (Matthew 23:3).

“Jesus said to him, “If God had been your Father, you would have loved me, because I came from God; I did not come of myself, but the Father sent me” (verse 42).

 

4. The Devil's Work

“You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and cannot stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. became a father" (verse 44).

The root and true colors of the devil are all revealed here. The unfortunate thing is that the devil has resisted the truth from the beginning and corrupted mankind, but the Jews are being possessed by the devil and are resisting Christ.

Look at the devil. He was a murderer from the beginning, and the truth was not in him, and he did not stand in the truth. The devil is good at disguising himself. He is a cursed spirit that speaks of salvation, but because there is no truth, he only leads to destruction. Remember that the devil has no truth.

“Every time I tell a lie, I speak it of my own” (verse 44).

What do you mean? A lie has the root of the devil, so no matter what the devil says, it cannot become the truth.

Saying “This is the gospel of the last days I received” and “This is the revelation I have received” and exercising all gifts as if they had received a patent is a heresy to beware of. The Word of the Lord.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord except to see what the Father is doing; for whatever the Father does, the Son also does” (John 5:19).

The devil is a liar from the beginning, and the father of lies. Therefore, even if he speaks like an angel, it is still only a lie. What is true freedom? It is the freedom of eternal life in the truth. on this belief
