남은 조각을 거두라

요6:1-15

 

"마침 유대인의 명절인 유월절이 가까운지라"(4절).

오병이어의 기적은 주님께서 마지막으로 예루살렘에 올라가시기 전에 있었던 일로서, 사복음서에 빠짐없이 기록했습니다(마14:13-21; 막6:30-44; 눅9:10-17; 요6:1-13).

"큰 무리가 따르니 이는 병자들에게 행하시는 표적을 보았음이러라"(2절).

복음서의 기록으로는 그때가 예수님의 주변에 최대의 군중이 모인 것입니다. 옛날이나 지금이나 표적이라면 많은 사람이 관심을 기울입니다. 또 사람은 인위적으로 해결하지 못할 문제가 있을 때에 배후의 도움을 구하는 것입니다. 우리가 주의 이름으로 구하는 것이 육신의 욕심에서라면 이방 우상을 섬기는 자들의 행위나 다름이 없을 것입니다. 하나님께서는 우리의 연약함을 아실 뿐만 아니라, 또 무엇을 필요로 하는지도 아십니다. 그러므로 우리가 육신의 욕심에 치우치지 말고 하나님의 뜻을 우선으로 할 때 모든 것이 풍족하게 될 줄 믿으시기 소원합니다.

 

1. 갈릴리 바다

"그 후에 예수께서 디베랴의 갈릴리 바다 건너편으로 가시매"(1절).

이스라엘의 유일한 젖줄인 갈릴리 바다에 대해서 성경에 기록된 여러 이름을 살펴보면, ① 긴네렛 해변(민34:11) ② 게네사렛 호수(눅5:1), 이것은 포로에서 귀환한 후 불려진 이름입니다. 그 후 유대인들에게는 갈릴리 바다로 불렸고, 그 지방을 갈릴리 지방이라 했습니다. ③ 디베랴 호수(본문과 요21:1), 헤롯 안티파스가 로마의 황제 디베랴를 기념하기 위해 호수 서편에 그의 이름을 딴 도시를 건설한 데서 생긴 것이라 합니다.

 

2. 빌립을 시험하신 주님

"예수께서 눈을 들어 큰 무리가 자기에게로 오는 것을 보시고 빌립에게 이르시되 우리가 어디서 떡을 사서 이 사람들을 먹이겠느냐 하시니 이렇게 말씀하심은 친히 어떻게 하실지를 아시고 빌립을 시험하고자 하심이라"(5-6).

마귀의 시험과 하나님의 시험은 근본적인 차이가 있습니다. 마귀는 우리를 멸망하게 하는 것이 목적이라면, 하나님은 우리의 구원과 축복을 목적으로 삼고 있습니다. 그러므로 마귀의 시험은 물리쳐야 합니다.

어떤 경우에는 감당하기 어려워서 "하나님 왜 이렇게 시험이 많습니까?"하고 몸부림을 치는 일도 있습니다. 낙심하지 마십시오. 그것이 내가져야 할 십자가라면 인내해야 합니다. 불원간 더 큰 영광이 임할 줄 믿습니다.

"빌립이 대답하되 각 사람으로 조금씩 받게 할지라도 이백 데나리온의 떡이 부족하리이다"(7절).

그 당시 한 데나리온은 품꾼이 받는 하루의 품삯입니다(마 20:9). 그러고 보면 이백 데나리온은 상당한 액수인데도 무리를 먹이기에는 부족했을 것입니다. 그렇다면 왜 "오백 데나리온 정도면 족하겠습니다"라고 말하지 않았을까 하는 생각은 들지 않습니까? 여기서 우리가 유의할 일은 오백 데나리온이라도 부족하기는 마찬가지라는 것입니다.

오래 전 일입니다. 제가 전도사로 목회할 때 교회의 재정을 맡은 집사님이 흑백 TV를 구입하여 식구들과 함께 아침, 저녁으로 즐기는 것을 보고 부러웠습니다. 그런데 지금은 어떻습니까? 그때 비하면 좋다고 하는 것은 다 가졌는데도 만족을 모르는 이유를 알아야 합니다.

"이 물을 마시는 자마다 다시 목마르려니와"(요 4:13).

이것이 세상입니다. 그러므로 우리는 영원히 목마르지 않는 생수를 찾아야 합니다. 목숨을 걸고 탈출한 러시아 벌목공들의 이야기를 들어보니 하루에 17-18 시간씩 일을 하면서도 한 달에 우리 돈으로 약 이만 원 정도 밖에 받지 못했다고 합니다. 그 고통을 견딜 수 없어 남한으로 탈출 온 그들을 우리는 따뜻한 동포애로 받아들여야 합니다. 북한에 비해 지금 우리의 환경은 비교가 안 될 정도로 풍족한데도 만족을 모르는 이유가 무엇일까요? 여전히 임금 투쟁과 노사파업은 그칠 줄 모르고 있는가 하면 한편으로는 사치와 향락, 퇴폐문화가 더해 가는 실정입니다. 과연 하나님께서 얼마나 참으실까 하는 두려운 마음이 듭니다. 우리는 이스라엘이 범죄 할 때마다 이방을 채찍으로 징계했던 것을 잊어서 안 될 것입니다.

빌립의 방식대로라면 우리나라도 당연히 핵무기를 생산하여 북한과 대치해야겠으나 핵무기로는 우리가 참 평안을 누릴 수 없는 것입니다. 그러므로 우리는 주님이 주시는 생수의 은혜로 해결 받을 수 있기를 소원합니다.

“내가 주는 물을 마시는 자는 영원히 목마르지 아니하리니 내가 주는 물은 그 속에서 영생하도록 솟아나는 샘물이 되리라”(요4:14).

 

3. 안드레의 제안

오병이어의 기적에 대해 자유주의 신학자들은 한 소년이 오병이어를 주님 앞에 내놓는 것을 보고 감동을 받은 군중들이 너 나 할 것 없이 모두가 내어놓아 넉넉하게 먹을 수 있었다고 주장합니다.

"여기 한 아이가 있어 보리떡 다섯 개와 물고기 두 마리를 가지고 있나이다 그러나 그것이 이 많은 사람에게 얼마나 되겠사옵나이까"(9절).

"콩 하나면 절반씩 나눠 먹는다"라는 말이 있지만, 그때 물고기 두 마리는 작은 생선이요, 보리떡은 가난한 서민들의 양식이라 하니 그것을 누구에게 나눌 수 있겠습니까? 마태복음의 기록입니다.

“이곳은 빈들이요 때도 이미 저물었으니 무리를 보내어 마을에 들어가 먹을 것을 사 먹게 하소서 예수께서 이르시되 갈 것 없다 너희가 먹을 것을 주라 제자들이 이르되 여기 우리에게 있는 것은 떡 다섯 개와 물고기 두 마리뿐이니이다 이르시되 그것을 내게로 가져오라”(마14:15-18).

여기서 우리가 깨달아야 할 것은 주님께서 역사하지 않으시면 인간은 무익하다는 것입니다. 안드레와 빌립은 해결할 수 없었지만 주님은 해결하셨습니다. 그러므로 우리에게 있는 작은 것도 주님께서 축복하시면 오병이어의 기적이 일어날 줄 믿습니다.

 

4. 남은 조각을 거두고 버리는 것이 없게 하라

"예수께서 이르시되 이 사람들로 앉게 하라 하시니 그 곳에 잔디가 많은지라 사람들이 앉으니 수가 오천 명쯤 되더라"(10절).

이는 여자와 어린이를 제외한 숫자입니다. 주님께서 말씀하시고 축사하실 때 역사는 일어났습니다.

"예수께서 떡을 가져 축사하신 후에 앉아있는 자들에게 나눠 주시고 물고기도 그렇게 그들의 원대로 주시니라"(11절).

주목할 것은,

1) 떡을 가져 축사하신 후 일어난 기적이라는 것입니다. 오늘도 내게 있는 것을 주님께 드릴 때 하나님의 영광이 드러날 줄 믿습니다.

2) 그들의 원대로 주시니라 하셨습니다. 모든 문제는 해결이 되었습니다.

"그들의 원대로" 얼마나 벅찬 은혜입니까? 우리들도 마음에 품은 소원이 다 있을 줄 압니다. 그 소원이 무엇입니까? 주님께 간구하십시오. 누르고 흔들어 넘치도록 채워 주실 줄 믿습니다.

"하나님께 위대한 것을 기대하라. 그리고 하나님을 위해 위대한 것을 시도하라." (윌리암 케리)

내 수중에 있을 때는 오병이어에 불과하지만 주님께서 축사하신 후에는 오천 명이 먹고도 남음이 있었습니다. 그것이 하나님의 은혜입니다.

여러분! 오늘도 살아계신 하나님을 믿으십니까? 주의 영광을 드러내는 일에 앞장서는 은혜를 힘입기 소원합니다.

"그들이 배부른 후에 예수께서 제자들에게 이르시되 남은 조각을 거두고 버리는 것이 없게 하라 하시므로 이에 거두니 보리떡 다섯 개로 먹고 남은 조각이 열 두 바구니에 찼더라"(12-13).

은혜의 잔치는 항상 넉넉합니다.

"남은 조각을 거두고 버리는 것이 없게 하라"

이 말씀을 기억하시기 바랍니다. 오늘 우리의 실정은 어떻습니까? 어디를 가나 먹을 것이 넘쳐나고 있습니다. 그러다 보니 음식점마다 버려지는 음식이 얼마나 많습니까? 조심해야 합니다.

"개들도 제 주인의 상에서 떨어지는 부스러기를 먹나이다"(마15:27).

그 믿음 때문에 귀신에게서 구원받은 사람이 있는가 하면 홍포 입은 부잣집에서 버려지는 부스러기를 먹으면서도 하나님을 기쁘시게 한 나사로도 있었습니다. 주의 복을 욕되게 하지 마십시오. 가정에서도 음식 찌꺼기라고 함부로 버리는 일이 있어서는 안 될 것입니다.

"하나님 아버지, 오늘도 일용할 양식을 주셔서 감사합니다." 기도하고 받은 음식을 왜 쓰레기통에 들어가게 합니까? 이는 복을 욕되게 하는 죄악입니다. 교회에서 음식을 드시는 분들은 더욱 주의하시기 바랍니다. 복을 복인 줄 모르고 대하면 복이 내게서 등을 돌린다는 사실을 깨달아야 합니다. 우리 모두 은혜로 사는 몸, 은혜의 사슬에 매인 바 되어 하나님께 영광 돌리는 성도들이 되시기 바랍니다.

 

5. 억지로 임금 삼으려는 무리들

"그 사람들이 예수께서 행하신 이 표적을 보고 말하되 이는 참으로 세상에 오실 그 선지자라 하더라"(14절).

이는 실로 귀중한 발견이라 아니할 수 없습니다. 교권주의자들은 안식일에 병 고침을 보고 율법을 범했다고 하였으나 병든 자, 귀신들린 자, 다급한 사정이 있는 무리들은 주님을 찾았고 그로 인해 오병이어의 기적에도 참여하게 되었던 것입니다.

"이는 참으로 세상에 오실 그 선지자라"(14절).

옳습니다. 이는 메시아를 의미하는 것입니다. 과연 예수님은 메시아로 세상에 오셨고 군중들은 그 주님을 보았습니다. 그러나 그때 주님께서 어떻게 하셨는지 보십시오.

"그러므로 예수께서 그들이 와서 자기를 억지로 붙들어 임금으로 삼으려는 줄 아시고 다시 혼자 산으로 떠나가시니라"(15절).

그들은 세속의 왕국과 그리스도의 왕국을 분별할 줄 몰랐습니다. 이는 예수님의 형제들도 마찬가지였습니다.

“그 형제들이 예수께 이르되 당신이 행하는 일을 제자들도 보게 여기를 떠나 유대로 가소서 스스로 나타나기를 구하면서 묻혀서 일하는 사람이 없나니 이 일을 행하려 하거든 자신을 세상에 나타내소서 하니 이는 그 형제들까지도 예수를 믿지 아니함이러라”(요7:3-5).

유의할 것은 세속의 왕국과 진리의 왕국은 근본을 달리하고 있다는 것입니다. 우리가 사는 동안 육신의 건강이 중요하듯 경제 여건이 중요하지만 경제 발전으로 진리의 왕국이 세워지는 것이 아닙니다.

"너희가 이 성전을 헐라 내가 사흘 동안에 일으키리라"(요2:19).

하나님의 나라는 건축업자나 설계사에 의해서가 아니라 하나님께서 이룩한 나라입니다, 그 나라는 부정이나 부패가 용납되지 않습니다.

“개들과 점술가들과 음행하는 자들과 및 거짓말을 좋아하며 지어내는 자는 다 성 밖에 있으리라”(계22:15).

우리가 주님을 사랑하고 존중하며 섬기는 일이 중요합니다. 그러나 주님을 민생 문제 해결해 주시는 지도자로만 생각한다면 오늘도 나를 떠나서 산으로 향하신다는 것을 기억해야 합니다. 썩어질 양식은 영생과 무관합니다.

"주여 영생의 말씀이 주께 있사오니 우리가 누구에게로 가오리이까 우리가 주는 하나님의 거룩하신 자이신 줄 믿고 알았사옵나이다"(요 6:68-69)

이 믿음으로 주님을 섬기는 성도 되어 땅 위에 진리의 나라를 이루는 초석이 되기를 기원합니다. - 아멘 -

The miracle of the five fish was recorded before the Lord went up to Jerusalem for the last time, and is recorded in all four Gospels (Matthew 14:13-21; Mark 6:30-44; Luke 9:10-17; John 6:1- 13).

“A great crowd followed, because they had seen the signs that He did to the sick” (verse 2).

According to the records of the Gospels, that time was the largest crowd gathered around Jesus. Whether in the past or now, if it is a sign, many people pay attention. Also, when people have problems that cannot be artificially solved, they seek help from behind. If we ask in the name of the Lord out of the lusts of the flesh, it will be no different than the actions of those who worship foreign idols. God not only knows our weaknesses, He also knows our needs. Therefore, I want you to believe that when we put God's will first and not lean on the lusts of the flesh, we will have abundance.

 

1. Sea of ​​Galilee

“After that Jesus went to the other side of the Sea of ​​Galilee in Tiberias” (verse 1).

Looking at the various names recorded in the Bible for the Sea of ​​Galilee, Israel's only lifeline, ① Beach of Chinnereth (Numbers 34:11) ② Lake of Gennesaret (Luke 5:1), these are the names given after returning from captivity. After that, the Jews called it the Sea of ​​Galilee, and the region was called Galilee. ③ Lake Tiberias (text and John 21:1), it is said that Herod Antipas built a city named after him on the west side of the lake to commemorate the Roman emperor Tiberias.

 

2. The Lord Tested Philip

“When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward him, he said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread to feed these people?” He said this to test Philip, knowing what he was going to do.” (5-6) .

There is a fundAmental difference between the devil's temptation and God's temptation. If the devil's purpose is to destroy us, God's purpose is our salvation and blessing. Therefore, the temptation of the devil must be defeated.

In some cases, it's hard to handle and you struggle, saying, "God, why are there so many trials?" Don't be discouraged. If that is the cross that I must bear, I must be patient. I believe that greater glory will come sooner or later.

“Philip answered, “Two hundred denarii would not be enough for each one to receive a little bit” (verse 7).

At that time, one denarius was the wages of a laborer for a day (Matthew 20:9). In hindsight, two hundred denarii would have been a considerable sum, but not enough to feed the herd. So, don't you wonder why I didn't say, "Five hundred denarii is enough"? We should note here that even five hundred denarii is not enough.

It was a long time ago. When I was pastoring as an evangelist, I was envious of seeing the deacon in charge of the church's finances purchase a black-and-white TV and enjoy breakfast and dinner with the family. But what about now? Compared to back then, you need to know why you are not satisfied even though you have everything you say is good.

“Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again” (John 4:13).

This is the world. Therefore, we must find living water that will never thirst. I heard the stories of Russian loggers who risked their lives to escape, and they said that they only received about 20,000 won in Korean money a month, even though they worked 17-18 hours a day. Those who escaped to South Korea because they could not bear the pain, we must accept them as a warm comrade. Compared to North Korea, our current environment is incomparably richer, but why are we not satisfied? The wage struggle and labor-management strike still do not stop, while on the other hand, the culture of luxury, pleasure and decadence is increasing. I am afraid of how much God will be patient. We must not forget that Israel punished the Gentiles with whips whenever they sinned.

According to Philip's method, of course, our country should also produce nuclear weapons to confront North Korea, but nuclear weapons cannot give us true peace. Therefore, we hope that it will be solved by the grace of the living water that the Lord gives us.

“Whoever drinks the water that I will give him will never thirst, and the water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water springing up to everlasting life” (John 4:14).

 

3. Andre's suggestion

Regarding the miracle of oysters, liberal theologians claim that the crowd was moved to see a boy presenting oysters before the Lord, and everyone, you and me, put them out so that they could eat enough.

“There is a child here, who has five barley loaves and two fish; but how much will it be for so many” (verse 9).

There is a saying, “If you eat a bean, you eat half of it”, but then two fish are small fish and barley rice cake is food for the poor, so who can you share it with? This is the Gospel of Matthew.

“This is a deserted place, and it is already late. Send the crowds to go into the village and buy food to eat.” Jesus said to him, “We have no need to go; give us something to eat.” The disciples said to him, “We have only five loaves and two fish here.” bring them to you” (Matthew 14:15-18).

What we need to realize here is that if the Lord does not work, human beings are useless. Andrew and Philip could not solve it, but the Lord did. Therefore, if the Lord blesses even the little things we have, I believe that the miracle of the Five Byeong-Eye will happen.

 

4. Gather the leftover pieces and make sure nothing is wasted

“Jesus said to them, “Let these people sit down.” There was a lot of grass there, and people sat down, about five thousand people” (verse 10).

This number excludes women and children. When the Lord spoke and gave his blessing, history took place.

“Jesus took the bread and, after giving thanks, gave it to those who sat down, and gave the fish as they wished” (verse 11).

It should be noted,

1) It is a miracle that happened after taking the bread and giving thanks. I believe that the glory of God will be revealed when I give what I have to the Lord today.

2) He gave them as they wished. All problems have been resolved.

How overwhelming is the grace "as they will"? I know that we too have all the wishes we have in our hearts. What is that wish? Ask the Lord. I trust you will fill it to overflowing by pressing and shaking.

"Expect great things from God. And try great things for God." (William Carey)

When it was in my hand, it was only five bowls of fish, but after the Lord gave thanks, there was more than five thousand people to eat. That is God's grace.

everyone! Do you believe in the living God today? I hope that you will gain the grace to take the lead in revealing the glory of the Lord.

"After they were satisfied, Jesus said to his disciples, "Gather up the leftover pieces, and let nothing be wasted." So when they gathered, they ate with five barley loaves and filled twelve baskets of leftover pieces" (12-13).

The feast of grace is always plentiful.

"Gather the leftover pieces and let nothing be wasted"

Please remember these words. How is our situation today? Wherever you go, there is plenty of food. As a result, how much food is wasted in each restaurant? Be careful.

“Even dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table” (Matthew 15:27).

There were people who were saved from demons because of that faith, and there was also Lazarus, who pleased God while eating the crumbs thrown away from a wealthy family wearing scarlet clothes. Do not dishonor your blessing. Even at home, there should not be any reckless disposal of food scraps.

“Heavenly Father, thank you for giving us our daily bread today.” Why do you put food you prayed for and received into the trash? This is a sin that dishonors blessings. Those who eat at church, please be extra careful. If you treat blessings without knowing that they are blessings, you must realize that blessings turn their backs on you. May we all become saints who glorify God by being bound by the chains of grace, a body that lives by grace.

 

5. The crowd trying to make him king

“When the men saw these signs that Jesus had done, they said, ‘This is indeed the prophet who is to come into the world’” (verse 14).

This is truly a valuable discovery. The ecclesiasticalists said that they had violated the law when they saw the healing on the Sabbath, but the sick, demon-possessed, and people in urgent need sought the Lord, and as a result, they participated in the miracle of the five diseases.

“This is indeed the prophet who is to come into the world” (verse 14).

That's right. This means the Messiah. Indeed, Jesus came into the world as the Messiah, and the crowd saw Him. But then he sees what the Lord has done.

“Therefore, knowing that they were about to come and take him by force and make him king, Jesus departed again to the mountain alone” (verse 15).

They did not know how to distinguish the worldly kingdom from the kingdom of Christ. It was the same with Jesus' brothers.

“Then his brothers said to Jesus, “Leave here and go to Judea, so that the disciples may see what you are doing, and there is no one who is buried and works, seeking to appear for himself. because he did not believe” (John 7:3-5).

Note that the worldly kingdom and the realm of truth are fundAmentally different. Economic conditions are as important as physical health while we live, but economic development does not establish the kingdom of truth.

“Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up” (John 2:19).

The kingdom of God is a kingdom built by God, not by builders or designers, in which corruption or corruption is unacceptable.

“Outside the city are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and all those who love and create lies” (Revelation 22:15).

It is important to love, respect and serve you. However, if you think of the Lord only as a leader who solves the problems of the people's livelihood, you must remember that today he leaves me and heads for the mountains. The food that perishes has nothing to do with eternal life.

“Lord, you have the word of eternal life; to whom shall we go? We believe and know that you are the Holy One of God” (John 6:68-69).
