아버지께서 일하시니

요5:17-23

 

주님께서 안식일에 병든 자를 고치신 일로 유대인들이 율법을 범했다고 박해하자 주님께서 하신 말씀입니다.

"내 아버지께서 이제까지 일하시니 나도 일한다"(17절).

내 아버지께서 지금도 일하시므로 내가 일한다는 말씀입니다. 이것은 유대인에게 있어서는 폭탄적인 발언입니다. 하나님께서는 창조 육일의 사역을 마치신 후 제 칠 일에 안식하셨고 또 모세에게 안식일을 거룩히 지키라는 계명을 주셔서 안식일을 지키라고 하셨으니 그날을 지켜야 마땅하나 유대인들은 외식주의로 전락하고 말았던 것입니다. 유의할 일은 하나님은 인간이 아니므로 안식의 필요성을 따라 지킨 것이 아니라는 것입니다. 달리 말씀드리면 영과 육의 균형을 이루기 위해서나 체력의 안배를 위해서가 아니라 친히 창조하신 피조물을 통해 영광을 받으시기 위해서였습니다. 그러므로 참된 안식 곧 영원한 안식은 구원이 완성된 천국에서 누릴 수 있는 것입니다.

“만일 여호수아가 그들에게 안식을 주었더라면 그 후에 다른 날을 말씀하지 아니하셨으리라 그런즉 안식할 때가 하나님의 백성에게 남아 있도다 이미 그의 안식에 들어간 자는 하나님이 자기의 일을 쉬심과 같이 그도 자기의 일을 쉬느니라”(히4:8-10).

 

1. 성부 하나님과 성자 하나님이 하시는 일

하나님께서는 창세기 일 장에서 육일 동안에 천지를 창조하시고, 이장에서는 안식에 들어가셨습니다. 그런데 이 창조의 사역이 요한복음에서는 성자 하나님으로 말미암아서 창조되었다고 말씀하고 있습니다(요1:3).

이는 태초부터 아버지와 아들이 함께 사역하신 증거입니다. 하나님은 만물을 창조하시고 오늘도 섭리하고 계십니다. 이는 단순히 피조물을 관리 보존하는데 목적이 있는 것이 아니라, 인간을 위한 생명사역에 있다는 사실을 깨달아야 합니다. 이 구원사역에 있어서 하나님과 예수님이 하신 일을 구별한다면 하나님께서는 독생 성자 예수님을 이 땅에 보내셨고, 그리스도는 순종하여 제물이 되심으로 대속의 은총을 완성하셨습니다.

중요한 것은 이 일을 이룩하심으로 이제는 하나님께서 일손을 멈추신 것이 아니라 지금도 구원 사역을 계속하고 계시다는 것입니다.

"아버지께서 이제까지 일하시니 나도 일한다".

이 일이 어느 때까지인지 아십니까? 마지막 심판 때까지입니다. 이것은 단순히 지구 종말까지라는 시간이 아니라, 그 이상의 중요한 의미를 담고 있다는 사실을 깨달아야 합니다. 그 일이 바로 우리를 구원하기 위한 사역입니다.

하나님께서는 자연법칙을 통해 우주만물의 운행을 주관하십니다. 그 일이 중요하나 그보다 더 위대한 일은 우리를 대속하여 영생에 이르게 하기 위한 구원 사역임을 믿으셔야 합니다. 하나님께서는 구원받아야 할 인간이 세상에 존재하는 한 주의 사역을 그치지 않으십니다. 그러므로 외식주의자들이 말하는 안식일에 병자를 구원하는 일과 귀신들린 자를 건져내신 것입니다.

"내 아버지께서 이제까지 일하시니" 내 아버지께서 일하시고 주님께서 일하시는데 우리는 무엇을 하고 있습니까? 하나님께서 기뻐하시는 일을 힘써야 합니다. 주님의 은혜를 헛되이 받아서는 안 될 것입니다.

독일의 젊은 신학자 본 훼퍼의 말입니다. "은혜를 값싸게 받으려는 것이 교회의 원수다. 은혜가 비싼 이유는 하나님이 아들을 댓가로 희생한 것이기 때문이요, 우리를 비싸게 사셨기 때문이다" 하였습니다. 우리는 기도해야 합니다.

"내 아버지께서 이제까지 일하시니 나도 일한다"

우리 모두 진리의 대열에서 생명과 구원 사역에 더욱 충성하는 일꾼들이 되시기 소원합니다.

 

2. 주님을 죽이려는 유대인들

"유대인들이 이로 말미암아 더욱 예수를 죽이고자 하니 이는 안식일을 범할 뿐만 아니라 하나님을 자기의 친아버지라 하여 자기를 하나님과 동등으로 삼으심이러라"(18절).

여기서 유대인들이 예수를 그토록 미워하고 또 죽이고자 한 이유를 두 가지로 밝히고 있는데, 그 첫째는 안식일을 범했다는 것이요, 둘째는 하나님을 친아버지라 하여 자기를 하나님과 동등으로 삼았다는 것입니다. 결국 그 일로 유대인들은 예수를 십자가에 못 박아 죽였습니다. 주님을 십자가에 못 박은 죄상이 무엇입니까? 예수를 영광 받으실 하나님의 독생자로 받아들일 수가 없다는 것입니다. 그것이 그들이 하나님을 위한다는 명분이었습니다.

“내가 이것을 너희에게 이름은 너희로 실족하지 않게 하려 함이니 사람들이 너희를 출교할 뿐 아니라 때가 이르면 무릇 너희를 죽이는 자가 생각하기를 이것이 하나님을 섬기는 일이라 하리라 그들이 이런 일을 할 것은 아버지와 나를 알지 못함이라”(요16:1-3).

진리로 오신 주님을 외면하지 마십시오.

"예수께서 이르시되 너희 율법에 기록된 바 내가 너희를 신이라 하였노라 하지 아니하였느냐 성경은 폐하지 못하나니 하나님의 말씀을 받은 사람들을 신이라 하셨거든 하물며 아버지께서 거룩하게 하사 세상에 보내신 자가 나는 하나님의 아들이라 하는 것으로 너희가 어찌 신성모독이라 하느냐 만일 내가 내 아버지의 일을 행하지 아니하거든 나를 믿지 말려니와 내가 행하거든 나를 믿지 아니할지라도 그 일은 믿으라 그러면 너희가 아버지께서 내 안에 계시고 내가 아버지 안에 있음을 깨달아 알리라”(요10:34-38).

그런데 유대인들이 나타난 표적을 보고도 믿지 못한 이유가 무엇인지 아십니까? 마귀의 교만으로 예수님을 무시하였기 때문입니다.

“우리가 너를 사마리아 사람이라 또는 귀신이 들렸다 하는 말이 옳지 아니하냐 예수께서 대답하시되 나는 귀신들린 것이 아니라 오직 내 아버지를 공경함이거늘 너희가 나를 무시하는 도다”(요8:48-49).

여러분! 예수님을 감히 무시할 수 있다면 그는 어떠한 존재일까요? 마귀입니다. 마귀는 하나님의 권위에 도전하다 저주받은 존재입니다. 마귀는 광야에서 천하의 영광을 보여주며 자기에게 경배하면 모두를 주겠노라 하였습니다.

“너희는 너희 아비 마귀에게서 났으니 너희 아비의 욕심대로 너희도 행하고자 하느니라 그는 처음부터 살인한 자요 진리가 그 속에 없으므로 진리에 서지 못하고 거짓을 말할 때마다 제 것으로 말하나니 이는 그가 거짓말쟁이요 거짓의 아비가 되었음이라”(요8:44).

마음을 낮추시고 마귀를 대적하십시오. 주님께서 우리와 함께하십니다. 엎드려 경배드리고 그 이름에 합한 영광을 주님께 돌리시기 소원합니다.

 

3. 하나님과 아들이 동등한 이유

1) 근본이 동일합니다.

"너희 안에 이 마음을 품으라 곧 그리스도 예수의 마음이니 그는 근본 하나님의 본체시나"(빌2:5-6).

예수께서 육신을 입으시고 세상에 오셨으나 하나님과 근본이 동일하십니다. 그리스도는 영원부터 하나님과 함께 계시며, 우주 만물을 창조하시고 다스리시는 조물주이십니다.

"나로 말미암지 않고는 아버지께로 올 자가 없느니라"(요14:6).

이것이 진리입니다. 세상에서 어떤 사람이 감히 이렇게 말할 수 있을까요? 모두가 허물진 자들이요, 멸망 받을 죄인입니다. 그러므로 모두가 번민과 고통에서 벗어나기 위하여 몸부림을 치는 것입니다. 오직 나를 구원해 주실 분은 구주 밖에 없다는 사실을 믿으시기 바랍니다.

"아버지께서 아들을 사랑하사 자기가 행하시는 것을 다 아들에게 보이시고 또 그보다 더 큰 일을 보이사 너희로 놀랍게 여기게 하시리라 아버지께서 죽은 자들을 일으켜 살리심같이 아들도 자기가 원하는 자들을 살리느니라"(20-21).

2) 심판권이 동일합니다.

"아버지께서 아무도 심판하지 아니하시고 심판을 다 아들에게 맡기셨으니"(22절).

이 말씀을 깊이 유의하시기 바랍니다. 이는 개인적인 심판이나 종말적인 심판이 모두 아들 되신 그리스도에게 일임되었다는 말씀입니다. 그러므로 그리스도 없는 구원은 속임수에 불과할 뿐입니다. 우리나라는 삼면이 바다이지만 전 세계에 항공망을 두고 있습니다. 그렇다고 아무 때나 입국할 수 있을까요? 그럴 수는 없습니다. 러시아에서 탈출한 북한 벌목공을 비롯하여 공산 치하에서 견디다 못해 주린 배를 움켜쥐고 사선을 넘어 온 사람들을 우리는 받아들이고 있습니다. 그러나 같은 핏줄이라 할지라도 용납할 수 있는 사람이 있는 반면, 색출하여 형벌을 가해야 하는 간첩들도 있습니다. 영생 얻기를 원하십니까? 주님의 품으로 돌아오십시오. 영생은 주님 품에 있습니다.

"아들이 있는 자에게는 생명이 있고 하나님의 아들이 없는 자에게는 생명이 없느니라"(요일서 5:12).

3) 영광이 동등합니다.

"이는 모든 사람으로 아버지를 공경하는 것같이 아들을 공경하게 하려 하심이라 아들을 공경하지 아니하는 자는 그를 보내신 아버지도 공경하지 아니하느니라"(요5:23절).

여러분! 믿음이 무엇입니까? 하나님이 살아계신 것을 믿는 것이요, 영원토록 영광을 받으시기 합당하신 분을 아는 것입니다. 이 사실에 대해서 유대인들을 따를 자가 있을까요? 그들은 목숨을 걸고 이 신앙을 고수하였습니다. 물론 구약시대에는 그러한 믿음으로 족했습니다. 하나님께서는 그 믿음을 받으시고 구원의 역사를 일으켰을 뿐 아니라, 때를 따라 돕는 은혜와 복을 내려 주셨습니다.

중요한 사실은 선지자의 예언에는 메시아가 오시리라는 언약이 있다는 것입니다. 동방의 의인 욥이 이 믿음을 가졌는가 하면 아브라함과, 다윗도 가졌습니다. 메시아의 언약은 너무도 중요하므로 이스라엘의 소망뿐만 아니라 전 인류의 소망입니다. 그런데 이스라엘이 마귀의 아비요 자식으로 전락 된 이유를 보십시오. 오신 메시아를 불신하고 십자가에 못 박아 죽였을 뿐 아니라 아직도 회개하고 돌아오지 않고 있는 것입니다.

그들이 사수하는 율법이 과연 올바른 믿음을 따라 지키는 것이라 할 수가 있을까요? 그리스도가 없는 율법은 구원의 진리와 무관함을 깨달아야 합니다. 성경에 도덕군자가 천국 갈 수 있다는 말씀이 있으면 그리스도 외에 구원이 있다고 하겠으나 그런 말씀은 없습니다. 오히려 일주일에 두 번씩 금식하고 십일조를 드린다며 스스로 의롭게 여기는 바리새인보다 "주여 나는 죄인이로소이다" 하면서 성전 모퉁이에 눈물짓고 회개하는 세리나 창기가 먼저 천국에 들어간다고 하셨습니다. 그것은 죄를 지어야 천국에 들어간다는 뜻이 아니라 대속의 은총을 힘입어야 한다는 말씀입니다. 그 사실을 깨닫고 위선의 가면을 던져버린 바울을 보십시오.

"죄인 중에 내가 괴수니라"(딤전1:15) 하였습니다.

놀라운 사실은 아무리 작은 죄라도 하늘나라에서는 용납될 수 없는데, 그처럼 큰 죄가 용납될 수 있다는 것은 보혈의 능력으로 사유함을 받았기 때문입니다. 이 사실을 믿으십니까? 하나님께 영광을 돌리시기 바랍니다. 그리스도를 경외할 줄 모르는 믿음은 참믿음이 아닙니다. 그리스도를 영접하지 못한 의는 위선일 뿐입니다. 주님과 관계없는 율법은 마귀의 올무가 될 뿐이요, 주님과 무관한 구원은 속임수에 불과한 것입니다.

"내가 진실로 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 내 말을 듣고 또 나 보내신 이를 믿는 자는 영생을 얻었고 심판에 이르지 아니하나니 사망에서 생명으로 옮겼느니라"(요5:24절).

여러분! 지금도 하나님께서 하시는 일이 무엇입니까? 예수 그리스도 안에서 우리를 구원하시는 생명 사역입니다. 하나님께서는 선악과를 먹음으로 에덴에서 축출된 죄인을 그리스도의 보혈로 사유해주시고, 영생을 얻게 하시는 이 사역을 지금도 계속하고 계십니다. 그러므로 우리는 그리스도의 복음 사역에 한가한 사람이 되어서는 안 될 것입니다. 모두가 불타는 사명감으로 생명 사역에 동참하시기 소원합니다.

기도하는 사람은 주님께서 기뻐하시는 이 사역을 위해 기도하십시오. 영력이 솟아오를 줄 믿습니다. 전도하는 사람은 사명을 따라 전도하십시오. 성령의 열매 맺는 역사가 일어날 줄 믿습니다. 어느 때를 막론하고 위대한 역사는 위대한 사명자를 통해서 일어난다는 사실을 믿으시기 바랍니다. 성령을 근심하게 하지 말고 소멸하지 마십시오. 기회를 져버리면 무서운 책임이 돌아온다는 사실을 잊어서 안 될 것입니다. 복음 사역에 어떠한 장애가 있습니까? 주님께 기도하십시오. 감당하기 어려운 시련이 있습니까? 소망의 눈으로 주님을 보시기 바랍니다. 우리 모두 충성된 믿음으로 지금도 일하시는 주님과 함께하여 영원한 영광에 이르기를 소원합니다.

경기도 광명시에 가면 경향탕이라는 온천이 있습니다. 온천 주인은 경향 교회의 권사인데 하나님의 일을 주업으로, 자기의 일은 부업으로 하며 살아간다고 합니다.

그런데 대중 사우나를 하기 위해 땅을 구입해서 지하수를 개발하던 중 질 좋은 유황천을 발견하여 손님들로 북새통을 이루고 있다고 합니다.

세상에는 돈 많은 부자들이 많지만 그 권사님의 경우와 달리 하나님께 영광을 돌릴 줄 모르는 부자라면 수전노에 불과할 뿐 물질로 참된 만족을 얻을 수는 없을 것입니다.

지금 TV를 비롯한 신문 사설과 사회면에는 한 패륜아가 자기를 낳아서 길러준 부모를 마흔 번이나 칼로 찔러 죽이고, 기름을 부어 불태운 사건이 보도되고 있습니다.

제자가 스승을, 또 이유 없이 대학생이 남의 집에 들어가 사람을 죽이는 일도 있습니다. 모두가 이성을 잃고 마귀에게 사로잡힌 결과입니다.

청지기의 신분을 망각하지 마십시오. "아버지께서 이제까지 일하시니 나도 일한다."

우리 모두 주님과 함께 생명과 구원 사역에 충성을 다하여 의의 면류관을 받아쓰는 성도들이 되시기를 기원합니다. - 아멘 -

 

Does your father work

John 5:17-23

 

These are the words of the Lord when the Lord persecuted the Jews for breaking the law by healing the sick on the Sabbath.

“My Father works until now, and I work” (verse 17).

My father is still working, so I am working. This is a bombshell for Jews. After God finished the work of the six days of creation, He rested on the seventh day and gave Moses the command to keep the Sabbath day holy and told him to keep the Sabbath. It should be noted that God is not a human being, so he did not keep it according to the necessity of rest. In other words, it was not for the purpose of balancing the spirit and the body or for arranging the physical body, but for the purpose of receiving glory through the creature He created. Therefore, true rest, that is, eternal rest, can be enjoyed in the kingdom of heaven where salvation is complete.

“If Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken of another day after that. Therefore, a sabbath remains for the people of God. He who has entered his rest, as God rests from his work, so he rests from his work. ” (Hebrews 4:8-10).

 

1. What God the Father and God the Son do

In the first chapter of Genesis, God created the heavens and the earth in six days, and in this chapter, he entered into rest. However, the Gospel of John says that this work of creation was created by God the Son (John 1:3).

This is the evidence that the Father and the Son worked together from the beginning. God created all things and is providing providence today. You must realize that this is not simply for the purpose of managing and preserving creation, but for the ministry of life for humans. If we distinguish between God and the work of Jesus in this work of salvation, God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to this earth, and Christ obeyed and became a sacrifice to complete the grace of redemption.

The important thing is that by accomplishing this, God has not stopped His work, but is still continuing His work of salvation.

“Father has been working, so I am working”.

Do you know how long this is? Until the final judgment. You have to realize that this is not just the time until the end of the world, it means more than that. That work is the work to save us.

God governs the operation of all things in the universe through the laws of nature. You must believe that the work is important, but the greater work is the work of salvation to redeem us and bring us to eternal life. God does not stop His work as long as there are humans who need to be saved. Therefore, He rescued the sick and rescued the demon-possessed on the Sabbath that the hypocrites say.

“My Father is at work until now” My Father is at work and the Lord is at work. What are we doing? We must strive to do what pleases God. We must not receive the grace of the Lord in vain.

In the words of a young German theologian, von Hooper. He said, "It is the enemy of the church to try to receive grace cheaply. Grace is expensive because God sacrificed his son as a price, and he bought us expensive." We must pray.

“My father works, so I work.”

I hope that all of us will become more faithful workers in the work of life and salvation in the ranks of the truth.

 

2. The Jews Trying to Kill the Lord

“For this reason the Jews were more and more eager to kill Jesus, not only because he was breaking the Sabbath, but also because he called God his own Father, making himself equal with God” (verse 18).

There are two reasons why the Jews hated Jesus so much and wanted to kill him. The first was that he broke the Sabbath, and the second was that he made himself equal with God by calling God his own Father. Eventually, the Jews killed Jesus by nailing him to the cross. What was the sin of nailing Jesus to the cross? We cannot accept Jesus as the only begotten Son of God to be glorified. That was the justification they did for God.

“I am giving this name to you so that you will not stumble. Not only will people go out of school, but at the time come whoever kills you will think, ‘This is serving God. not” (John 16:1-3).

Do not turn away from the Lord who has come as the truth.

“Jesus said to him, “Didn’t it be said in your law, ‘I said you are gods? If I do not do my Father's works, do not believe me; but if I do, believe them even though you do not believe me; then you will understand and know that the Father is in me and I am in the Father." (John 10:34-38).

But do you know why the Jews did not believe when they saw the sign? Because the devil's pride ignored Jesus.

“Is it not true that we say that you are a Samaritan or that you have a demon?” Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon, but I honor my Father, and you ignore me” (John 8:48-49).

everyone! If you could dare ignore Jesus, what kind of existence would he be? The devil. The devil is a cursed being for challenging God's authority. The devil will show you the glory of the world in the wilderness, and if you worship him, he will give you everything.

“You are of your father the devil, and you also want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and cannot stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. became a father” (John 8:44).

Be humble and resist the devil. The Lord is with us. We pray that we bow down and worship the Lord and give Him the glory that is due to His name.

 

3. Why God and His Son Are Equal

1) The fundAmentals are the same.

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus, who was in the form of God” (Philippians 2:5-6).

Although Jesus took on the flesh and came into the world, he has the same fundAmentals as God. Christ has been with God from eternity and is the Creator and Ruler of all things in the universe.

“No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).

This is the truth. Who in the world dares to say this? All are fallen ones, sinners destined to perish. Therefore, everyone struggles to escape from anguish and suffering. Please believe that the only one who can save me is the Savior.

“The Father loves the Son, and he shows the Son all that he does, and he shows you greater things than these, so that you will be amazed. As the Father raises the dead from the dead, so the Son gives life to whomever he wishes” (20). -21).

2) Judgment power is the same.

“The Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to his Son” (v. 22).

Please pay close attention to this statement. This means that both personal and eschatological judgments were entrusted to the Son, Christ. Therefore, salvation without Christ is nothing more than a deception. Although Korea is surrounded by sea on three sides, it has air networks all over the world. Can I still enter the country at any time? It can't be. We welcome North Korean loggers who escaped from Russia, and those who crossed the line of fire under communism, clutching their hungry ships. However, there are people of the same lineage who can tolerate it, while there are spies who need to be identified and punished. Do you want eternal life? Return to the arms of the Lord. Eternal life is in the arms of the Lord.

“He who has the Son has life, and he who does not have the Son of God does not have life” (1 John 5:12).

3) Equal glory.

“This is so that all may honor the Son as they honor the Father; whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him” (John 5:23).

everyone! What is belief? To believe that God lives, and to know Him who is worthy to be glorified for eternity. Will anyone follow the Jews on this? They risked their lives to adhere to this belief. Of course, in the Old TestAment times, such faith was sufficient. After receiving that faith, God not only caused the work of salvation, but also blessed us with grace and blessings to help us in time of need.

The important thing is that the prophet's prophecy has a covenant that the Messiah will come. Job, a righteous man from the East, had this faith, and Abraham and David also had this faith. The Messianic covenant is so important that it is not only the hope of Israel, but also the hope of all mankind. But look at the reason why Israel was reduced to the devil's father and child. Not only did he disbelieve the Messiah who had come and nail him to the cross, but he still has not repented and returned.

Can it be said that the law they keep is really keeping the right faith? We must realize that the law without Christ has nothing to do with the truth of salvation. If there is a saying in the Bible that a moral man can go to heaven, it will be said that there is salvation other than Christ, but there is no such word. Rather than a Pharisee who justified himself by fasting twice a week and paying tithes, he said, “Lord, I am a sinner,” and repenting at the corner of the temple with tears in tears and repenting tax collectors or prostitutes enter the kingdom of heaven first. It does not mean that we must sin to enter the kingdom of heaven, but that we must receive the grace of redemption. Look at Paul who realized that fact and threw away the mask of hypocrisy.

“I am chief among sinners” (1 Timothy 1:15).

Surprisingly, no matter how Even a small sin cannot be tolerated in the kingdom of heaven, but such a large sin can be tolerated because it has been forgiven by the power of the blood. Do you believe this? Please give glory to God. Faith that does not fear Christ is not true faith. The righteousness that does not accept Christ is only hypocrisy. Laws that are not related to the Lord are only a snare to the devil, and salvation that is not related to the Lord is only a deception.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned, but has crossed over from death to life” (John 5:24).

everyone! What is God doing now? It is the work of life that saves us in Jesus Christ. God is still continuing this work of pardoning sinners who were expelled from Eden by eating the forbidden fruit with the precious blood of Christ and granting them eternal life. Therefore, we should not be idle in the gospel ministry of Christ. We want everyone to join the ministry of life with a burning sense of mission.

Those who pray, pray for this ministry that the Lord is pleased with. I believe that spiritual power will spring up. Those who evangelize should evangelize according to their mission. We believe that the work of bearing the fruit of the Holy Spirit will take place. Please believe in the fact that great history happens through great missionaries at any time. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit and do not quench it. We must not forget that the loss of an opportunity brings a terrible responsibility. What obstacles do you have in the ministry of the gospel? Pray to the Lord. Are you having a difficult ordeal? Please see the Lord with eyes of hope. We wish all of us to reach eternal glory with the Lord who is still working with faithful faith.
